it has value because its the best asset type, easy to move, easy to secure. you can take it to the grave. and its guaranteed to be scarce, nothing in the human history has the same properties. house prices are not high because people need houses, they are high because traditionally, people put their value in the house market in order to protect it, because houses are scarce. you cant put your value in gold because gold loses its value because there are more gold being mined every year, it doesnt survive more than 2 generations. people uses houses as store of value because there was no other option. they are not great, they require maintenance, security. and houses are easy to tax, because you cant move your house to another country with less tax. if you tax btc too much it can leave the country in someone's head. bitcoin should make houses cheaper and more affordable because then we dont have to use them wrongly as store of value out of their purpose
@@Annah382 A global currency can build a much bigger pyramid than a nation level MLM. It's also got no barrier to participate. With an MLM you normally have to actually sell something. The part about gold bugs me a bit because, while it has value because of the bling, it's also used in practically every aspect of today's technology. Hell, to mine bitcoin, you need gold
The point isn’t that gold is useless it’s that its value is much higher than like the actual value of its use. We all just say it’s worth a lot because we agree it’s worth a lot. It’s why those cranks who complain about the gold standard being dropped are cranks
I am in the boat that Gold doesn't have all that much intrinsic value, other than its supply. However, the gold standard was important because it prevented government taxation through inflation.

gold wasnt valued since the dawn of humanity, lots of random crap unique to a specific society was though, like sea shells - in this context whats important is something common that everyone accepts and has access to while having properties that ppl attribute to as good SOV
And the societies that used sea shells got trampled by societies that used gold. Later on, these societies started using gold instead of reverting to sea shells.
Gold is rare. It doesn't tarnish. It's small. It's physical. That's why it was used. In the modern world it can't be used for payments but its still physical which is what makes it unique compared to other investments.
@@hedgehog3180 Seashells are an inferior sort of currency to gold. They are easily produced by industrial societies, whereas gold is not. People need to realize that the reason gold was used as money is because of its properties which make it the hardest natural money and not because it was 'available' or because it is pretty or anything else.
I think one of the biggest strengths in Bitcoin is that if I want to send $30 million to a guy in Bolivia on a saturday night at 3AM I can do so in 10 minutes while paying maybe $0.5. Try doing the same thing in the traditional banking system and tell me how many questions they asked, how much you had to pay, how long it took and how many watchlists you were placed on.
If you're sending $30 million to a buy in Bolivia you;re doing it in USD cash, in Pelican cases, on a chartered private yacht, with an armed security team. The only thing bitcoin was ever good for in a commercial sense was buying bathtub meth off silk road.
And once again, libertarian ideals have been effortlessly subsumed by the state to further its power. There is no reason to drop that kind of money in Latin America in one go unless you work for the CIA plotting a coup

Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies.

Totally get where you're coming from! Bitcoin's like the Wild West of investing-exciting but risky. If you want to keep that $23k from turning into a sob story, maybe think about getting some professional advice. An investment advisor could help balance the thrill of crypto with some less nerve-wracking options. You know, so you’re not just one Elon Musk tweet away from financial ruin. 😅
You guys are right-Bitcoin's a wild ride, but I’m all about calculated risks. I’ve been thinking about getting an investment advisor too, but honestly, I have no clue where to find a good one. How do you even start looking for someone who won’t just push their own agenda?
There are a handful of CFAs. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘' Linda Aretha Reeves” for some years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s known in her field, look her up.
Thanks for the heads-up! I looked up Linda Aretha Reeves, and she seems like exactly what I’ve been searching for. Finally feels like I’m on the right track in this financial journey. Here’s to smart investments and no more sleepless nights wondering if I made the right choice!
Watched Linda Aretha on Bloomberg finance summit 4 years ago and her presentation was terrific!

It might actually be too much for casuals.
Not sure if it's _the_ best one, but it's up there. Top 3 easily.

yeah right lmao dude is so ill informed about the entire space either its on purpose and for the memes, or he is actually smooth brained. Nobody is worried about btc energy costs lol, and scarcity IS a good argument for why btc is a good asset, why would it not be? casually explained is a clown show who probably lost shit tons of money in crypto, or more likely missed the train entirely, leading to this shit video. Absolute case of skill issue tbh.
Seems like an MLM scheme to me. Invest in Bitcoin, hype it up to your friends so they buy, raising the price for you. Keep hyping it to make sure demand goes up and your Bitcoin holding keeps going up.
it has value because its the best asset type, easy to move, easy to secure. you can take it to the grave. and its guaranteed to be scarce, nothing in the human history has the same properties. house prices are not high because people need houses, they are high because traditionally, people put their value in the house market in order to protect it, because houses are scarce. you cant put your value in gold because gold loses its value because there are more gold being mined every year, it doesnt survive more than 2 generations. people uses houses as store of value because there was no other option. they are not great, they require maintenance, security. and houses are easy to tax, because you cant move your house to another country with less tax. if you tax btc too much it can leave the country in someone's head. bitcoin should make houses cheaper and more affordable because then we dont have to use them wrongly as store of value out of their purpose
I guess a lot of people over the last 15 years have been "hyping it up to their friends," no real value. 😂
@@Annah382 A global currency can build a much bigger pyramid than a nation level MLM. It's also got no barrier to participate. With an MLM you normally have to actually sell something. Its value is debatable but for an asset that is as volatile as Bitcoin, it's risky to store money in it that you would be devastated to lose.
@@nomadshiba You said a lot without once mentioning what actually gives it value. Which is nothing. The only "value" comes from new people buying into the scam. Eg a pyramid scheme.
@@nomadshibaHouses and Gold can satisfy real life demands while Bitcoin is mostly there to convert it into Fiat currency aka actual money.

I'm thinking of getting into investing but feel a bit lost and confused. Any friendly advice or contacts you recommend for guidance?
It's a wise idea to seek expert advice when you're setting up an investment portfolio because it can be a bit complicated.
Getting advice & guidance from financial experts like Alana ringberg to adjust your investment is a wise move.
Wow. You know her too? I lost a lot of money as a beginner until I saw Mrs Alana ringberg She on CNBC. She's been managing my portfolio with good returns and I appreciate her sincerity and genuine services
So you guys also familiar with her? Whoa! She is amazing and the reason my spouse and I possess our own home and car
I was so skeptical when I saw testimonies about Alana but I gave her a try. She has been making good returns for me since I started trading with her

Me want fish. Me give shiny rock for fish. Everyone in tribe see trade. Tribe write trade on big rock. Big rock can't change.
Me want new shiny rock. Me do big puzzle. First to finish puzzle get new shiny rock. Shiny rock safe. No one steal.
What with the spam? Did this video summon all the crypto bots of the world?
i know right
Yes.
They probably latch onto key words.
Yes, many crypto RUclipsrs have had to pretty much totally give up on comments as a functional feature. Almost every. single. comment is such spam. Surely they and their viewers are all reporting constantly but RUclips hasn't done anything about it and it's been at least 3-4 years like this. But they creators to keep the comments on for "engagement," I guess.
I think you're only immune to it if you have monetization off. That's why CoinBureau is immune, and that's good for the rest of us since they're a top information/education-only channel (assuming they still are; I'm no newbie any more so I don't watch them much. No vouching here).
Yeah it's the same for any other financial video, they just love to scam desperate people ig
@@catastic9394 does it happen on tranditional finance videos too? As an exercise, the finance videos I watch aren't in English so I don't know. I do see the spam has enough generic language or can be easily adapted for them lol.

The part about gold bugs me a bit because, while it has value because of the bling, it's also used in practically every aspect of today's technology. Hell, to mine bitcoin, you need gold
You also need water to mine bitcoin and to live
The point isn’t that gold is useless it’s that its value is much higher than like the actual value of its use. We all just say it’s worth a lot because we agree it’s worth a lot. It’s why those cranks who complain about the gold standard being dropped are cranks
Only 10% of gold is actually used for industrial purposes, 90% of it is used purely as a store of value. Most of it is just sitting in vaults.
@@davidj6755 10% is still a LOT of gold
I am in the boat that Gold doesn't have all that much intrinsic value, other than its supply. However, the gold standard was important because it prevented government taxation through inflation.

Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time
I'm new to cryptocurrency and don't understand how it really works. how Can someone know the right approach to investing and making good profits from cryptocurrency investments?
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I’m guided by Alex Mathew . A widely known crypto consultant
I'm surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of his clients testimonies on CNBC news last week...
I started working with Alex Mathew back in June, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.
You’re the greatest to casually do it.
I am too simple and straight up uninterested in the subject matter to understand 90% of the finance jokes in this video. The hoddler was funny, and the video was good. Thank you CasEx. I, too, did not learn anything from 2008.
gold wasnt valued since the dawn of humanity, lots of random crap unique to a specific society was though, like sea shells - in this context whats important is something common that everyone accepts and has access to while having properties that ppl attribute to as good SOV
@@axnoro What the fuck does that have to do with anything?
@@hedgehog3180 Seashells are an inferior sort of currency to gold. They are easily produced by industrial societies, whereas gold is not. People need to realize that the reason gold was used as money is because of its properties which make it the hardest natural money and not because it was 'available' or because it is pretty or anything else.
Don’t forget about tulips. Those were some strange times…just like now.
Crypto's too risky for me, instead, I'm taking the safer option and commiting insurance fraud. Then, with that money, I'll buy gear and rob a bank.
Why not just stop with the fraud? If you do that right there's absolutely no need to

I just got an ad for Bitcion half way through this video that was explaining bitcoin, saying close to what you said, just seriously. It was hilarious.
The live casino games are my favorite. The blackjack tables especially. Feels like the dealer is right there with you
I think one of the biggest strengths in Bitcoin is that if I want to send $30 million to a guy in Bolivia on a saturday night at 3AM I can do so in 10 minutes while paying maybe $0.5.
The only thing bitcoin was ever good for in a commercial sense was buying bathtub meth off silk road.
if you're doing that you should for sure be on a watchlist

I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other RUclips trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when i discovered content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to follow
I will advise you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing.
If you can, then get a professional to trade for you i think that way your assets are more secure
I'd recommend Annabelle Hartfield, her profit is great even when there's a dip
