Ancient Warrior is FAR from “floodgate or bust,” it simply elevates what was already one of the best decks in the game. Drazilian Dutt Lift killed me LOL

was good to see some more about this deck, i kogged yesterday with it but only with three visits and the tenki and tensu backrow wise each at 3, + cause it's a brand new account from earlier this month i also didnt have staples or the cards beside deck build box and it's mini box yet, so extra deck was not used beside tiger king and ddl cause randoms to fill it up 😅but was a good guide to learn how i can improve it even more, thanks for this great advanced guide 🙏
When Ash does come to DL, it will be cause the format is ready for it. It's one thing Undead showed me as I was panicking about the hand trap releases😂
I just barely hit kog with this deck this morning😅 and from my experience the worst match up is definitely tenyi. I only have 2 copies of three visit but the chance is like 10% to get in starting hand😅
@5:44, I'm not sure its true or for some reason didn't work for me. Just played against Tenyi, and I wanted to use the effect of easy by south winds so they couldn't use their effects in the grave to negate Double dragon lords' return to hand. I had east by south winds active on the field, and used DDL's quick effect to send it to the grave, then bounced their berserker. But before he got bounced, Mapura's effect popped, negating the return to hand and destroying DDL. Does it have to do with being part of a chain? I should be able to activate east by south as soon as it is discarded, but instead DDL tries to bounce first and I can't prevent Mapura's effect yet. Very annoying. I'd have to have Sun Mou still to send it to the GY.
The thing is it hadnt resolved yet by the time they got a chance to respond so you have to wait for the east by south winds to successfully resolve before trying to break their board -Undead

(Sorry for the bad english)

They seems like a fun deck type, but it feels very inconsistent with the bricks, and feels like it's all over the place.

AW truly is an amazing deck given the cost. If I wasn't holding out for new box I would've been playing it every day.

Nice fissure use, don't have that card, but very spicy to see. I don't think I've seen another deck list with it so far. 🔥
I would use Knightmare Phoenix and Knightmare Unicorn and Rasterliger in my extra deck

U should cut 2 ED monsters for Utopia to beat over untargetable monsters with 5000atk
