Just found your channel, watched about 50 videos that you posted a year or more ago thinking that you probably didn't post anymore then I see this and all your recent video. Active Channel + Amazing at Guitar + Great Inspiration = Subbed
***** OMG really?! that's awesome. Always been a musical person. I play the piano and flute and I just bought my electric guitar today, along with rocksmith on steam, some DLcs, and I just ordered my cable which is arriving in two days aswell. So hyped ^-^
CasparChance You play both the piano and the flute? That's really impressive actually. I have a friend who knows how to play the piano and its very beautiful listening to him play it in person. I also got Rocksmith off of steam since it's like $16 and not $45.
This and Wretched and Divine are my favorite songs from this album. Also a side note my J.Reynolds could possibly do this song alright; but it would sound completly off on the playback.
I think I get where you're coming from with this question. Kind of like a "why not just shift your hand up/down the fretboard (i.e. play on the 4th fret instead of the 5th if the song is tuned down half a step)?" If that's where you're coming from, then I kind of alluded to the issue already: you'll run into "lowest possible note" problems if you try to stay in, say, Standard tuning while playing a song in Eb Drop Db such as with this song. Because the lowest string is tuned to Db (sometimes referred to as C# by online tuners) that's three steps down from Standard tuning. This means if there are any notes played on the open, first, or second frets on the 6th string in Db, you can't replicate that on a guitar in E Standard by simply shifting, since an Open E would be the third fret on a guitar to the tuning of Db. Likewise, the lower you go with tunings, the wider this "impossible" territory becomes since each fret is half a step. So because of that, it's generally just less problematic to tune down rather than trying to shift your fingers/hands along the fretboard, but if the song doesn't have any notes in that "inaccessible" zone, then you could theoretically get away with just shifting your frets accordingly. But as Carden mentioned, it also means a change in the shape of some chord variants, which could lead to some very gymnast-like contorting being required by your fingers.
I love BVB as musicians, but Rocksmith did so much wrong by selecting this song for any dlc. They should have went with Coffin for a good choice. And I have spent the last 10 songs trying to figure out why your audio sounds so off and I pinpointed that it is literally the guitar that makes it sound so terrible. Your skills are good but the guitar is a huge letdown tonally.
I only clicked on this video to see what the witty description would be and I was not disappointed.
Same here, I just knew there would be a good one
I get that people hate BVB, but you have to admit that Jinxx and Jake have great chemistry together on the guitars.
Nice! This channel finally made me get up off my ass and start learning guitar! Keep up the good work at 2am buddy.

Same, just decided to pick up this game after not touching my guitar for a few years now. Cable is coming in 2 days so I can't wait!

***** God bless Steam Sales! xD
CasparChance awesome I'm not kidding it's awesomely me right(rlly late😂) also what guitar was it ?
nice one Elison . my favourite of the pack .
That description.
IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER
I'd like a DLC or 2 of these guys, the lyrics may not be very enjoyable, but Rocksmith is about the guitar, and the guitarists of this band are great
I wish they would have done a BVB pack instead but you take what you can get
AlexLong1000 Not many good BVB songs, Just play A7x, close enough,
I laughed a bit too much at the description. You could've also used "If BVB went Pop" but yours is better

It starts with
When I was...
exactly what the description says
Goodjob!!
But in the end, it doesn't even matter!
Me: Oh, I like this song, maybe I learn how to play it.
Me, after watching the video: Maybe I'll pick something else then?
How do you like the Revstar?
What's the point of tuning down, when you don't even use open strings?
uhhh
Because it shifts all notes on the neck to different positions and lower octaves for more alternative sounds?
Changes the shape of some of the chord variants too
BioTomi I know right

not a big fan of their music, but as musicians, they're OK
They’re a metalcore of kiss you mean;)
Rawr XDDDDDDDDD
why won't it let me watch it 😭😭
Well this is Ohio's A7X if Chad Kroeger was American

"If Nickelback covered Avenged Sevenfold" on a song by BVB
Funny enough, Nickleback is the best out of all 3 of these bands
