Do you know if there is other software that lets you time align tab notation to an audio track, even if it doesn't have input note detection like Rocksmith? It's nice being able to play along with songs by sight without having to keep time, so an alternative would be good if Rocksmith+ gets cancelled.

Guitar Pro 8 it’s added this feature! It’s a lot different than Rocksmith, in terms of layout, but it may be a good option!
