That is going to be just gorgeous! Now you got me thinking, well, maybe I do have a place for a greenstalk! First year I started more flowers than veggies in the grow room. Stay Well!!!
I've been using my Greenstalk almost exclusively for strawberries, however now I may need to buy another one for annual color. Looking forward a few weeks hence to see how your flowers will be looking.
🇨🇦 with this video it’s best to watch the entire video before you start 😏 important information is found at the end after you’ve already planted into dry soil lol
If I did think I could use this it would be for mainly herbs. I’m concerned about tipping over or worse on a kid. I would strap it to the railing. And futuristically I can’t see me lifting or refurbishing all that soil every year. Great for balconies and for those with no garden space.
Any videos on squash bugs? I know it's off topic. So far, I'm stuck picking the bugs and throwing them away and then removing the eggs by hand or with tape. I've got an aphid issue also, but in all honesty, I love ladybugs, and my garden gets a lot of ladybugs every year.
Last 2 years my garden was going well. Then bam, my landlord/ farmer sprays his field. The run of leave brown spots on my pea plants leaves and stems curling backwards, brown spots on radishes, and on my corn. I lost a leaf on watermelon. And in tomatoes that I have ot planted yet, sitting on my front porch, leave are curling backwards.😢 last year when my tomatoes an green bean was thriving they got the spary runoff and by time my tomatoe started to recover they got attacked by hornworms😢. Any suggestions on how to reduce or reverse affects of commercial farm herbicides?
New to green stalk here. I have set mine up but I feel like the water is moving through the whole the Ing to fast. I can’t get it filled to the top of reservoir for it to leak down because it runs out to fast. Should I be blocking the top center whole?
The top reservoir normally drains quickly and fills up each of the internal reservoirs on each tier. If you block the hole the lower levels will not get the water they need.
I love the idea of planting flowers in it. I just ordered another GreenStalk and I am going to mix flowers in with the herbs that are going in it.
Love it!! Can't wait to see it all filled in and growing out! It's going to be stunning!

I love this! I'm imagining something like that dark green tower with a "Moon Garden" (all white) collection of flowers, esp the richly scented ones.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us

I did one all nastursiums, one all strawberries( I will have to transplant them later though).
I'm jonsing for the 7tier pink basket weave.
Jump on it....the mothers day sale is on. 7 tier is $170..... 5 tier is $109
But the 7 tier not basket is only ~$152.

Great tips! Thank you for the link where to buy these.
Wish they sold these in UK
I think it was on Eli & Kate vid someone mentioned that someone over there is making them.
Its a real shame those Greenstalks are still not here matey
It is, Tony. Hopefully that will change soon.
I think on Eli’s channel it was mentioned that either someone is making them or distributing them now or soon 🤷♀️.
beware of slugs and snails hiding in the tiers. I had to put some sluggo in, because everything I planted just disappeared overnight!
😮😢
I don't have that problem in dry Colorado.
I think you can take copper tape and create a circle around the base to stop them from crawling up. Would need to set on solid base.
Now there’s a good idea, thanks

I don’t have a video on squash bugs but what you’re doing is a good approach.

Time will dissipate their impact. If you see him spraying you can try covering your beds with plastic to reduce the spray landing on your plants.
🥰🥰😍
I live here in Colorado Springs, what store did you buy the flowers at?
At Lowe’s
