About 2 years ago I checked out your The Watch Tower vid and I gotta tell ya, that vid revolutionized my game and how I build in settlements, I copied your watch tower to a T, then made another, then every settlement I built one and tried a few different creative touches, using the same rules so to speak at Sunset Drive in, I've started building a fort with your watch towers on the corners and various other points but I've put the wooden looking barn walls which had a given it a nice wooden fort effect, its not finished as I needed a break but I just wanted to say thank you for the ideas which have given me plenty of hours of chilled out creativity, THANKS
You should start a channel of you doing dramatic readings. Or do recordings for audiobooks. Love your voice!!!
Been playing the game off and on since it came out and have watched a lot of videos that give complex and complicated building ideas for shops. This video gave me tons of ideas and that will go with different themed settlements, awesome video 👍

I normally do not comment on youtube videos, but i was having a little bit of a problem with how the stores looked and you solved all my problems, i did not even think about using those round metal houses, they look amazing. Really thank you, it was an really good idea and great video.

These are great ideas! The café reminds me of the kind of market cafés we have in real life here in the UK, I wish it was possible to further customise the vendor, would be great to have a price list pinned on there like they have.

If you have foundations surrounding another foundation you can remove the middle foundation , snap a prefab and you don't notice the lack of foundation as it's hidden.

Also, I shit you not, I had exactly the same poles/canopy over a tower at Red Rocket. I scrapped it this week for more resources to fuel my recent cracked-glass addiction. I would reload a save to compare? Between you & other consistently good RUclips tutors and the /r/falloutsettlements development, It's like a shared & developing Fallout architectural "language" is being cataloged..
That would make an amazing oversized coffee-table book. Dibs. ;)
Now all I need is a coffee table. I wasn't happy with my farming video but I've been proud of all my other build its. I'm definitely up for idea sharing :D

What junk scrapping mod are you using to clean settlements? I was using scrap everything but it was causing crashes after a while.
try spring cleaing, that is what i use, and i havent had any problems with it

Some nice ideas there. It's a shame Bethesda didn't polish this a bit more. It feels slapped-on. At least without mods. Also, you can't really share what you've made with anyone, other than making videos like these.

nope. It uses a pc script extender

in short, No.
the long story,
maybe a mod similar to it, or along the same lines but not that mod specifically, all place anywhere mods so far rely on a third party program, like cheat engine, or in PlaceAnywhere's case an extensive program built specifically for adding scripts to fallout 4 called fallout script extender. The creation kit used to make mods does have scripting capability, but the fallout script extender (fse) goes beyond the engine while the creation kit just cant.

look for a mod called simple intersection, im on pc and i just use that, i dont even go as far as place in red or place anywhere, you can really push the limits of the builder with just a little more clipping in your objects.

why do videos that explain how to do something in so many minutes take so damn long? how to do this is 2 minutes, watch a 17 minute video. I understand things need explaining so in a way double the time should be all that 2 minute vid should only be 4 mins...
