Think about this game like this : Joker misses 1 3pt and Gordon misses 1 or more 3pt (because he is not a consistent and good shooter) and Denver loses. You are talking about one block from Jamal while he is liability on defense and they are searching for him in switch and he had 10ish points. At this point I would bet Pritchard from Boston would have bigger impact than he has . Next step is to praise Jamal just for showing up to work and putting on a jersey.
You are right in one thing; AG should not shoot 3pts, as same as Joke, while there are sharpshooter on the court, but eventually, they would have to shoot it from time to time, especially Joke. But you are wrong in one aspect: for any close game, you could say any IF. Why not if CB didn't have that dunk with faul, or MPJ 3pt with faul, or Westrbrook had 1 more turnover... When game is so close that 1 or 2 possesion could decide either way, anyones possesion from start till the end could have that IF-impact. In the end, team won by complette gameplay all 48 minutes, and all their individual actiones in total sum counted for a win... P. S. Although, I must say also that I agree Murrey is for sure maybe mostly to blame it was 1-2 possesion close game instead relaxed 8-12 advantage endgame... it is not impressive when max contract guy have same impact on the game as Christian Brown that is playing for 4 time lesser money, or max-guy can be changed by veteran on minimum contract (read Westbrook) that gives the same impact, even tripple double, even better. I started to yell on TV-Malone: "Bench that snail and bring Westbrook in clutch time, Maloooooone!!!" And that is irony of the ironies that I started to ask for "Clutch" Westbrook known for his clutch disasters, because even such "clutch"-player is somehow currently clutchier than Murrey...
You can do that for a lot of different close games, and you can do it the other way as well. For instance - if Jamal was just normal January Jamal [not playoff Jamal] the Nuggets win by 10+. Etc. The outcome is what it is, there's no point doing hypothetical [well, if this then that type shit]
bingo, he was about to, but simultaneously caught himself, He never actually motioned his hand for a TO an he never said "timeout" Steve Kerr is jus an imbecile
Braun didn’t call a time out it may of looked that way but I e watched that play a few times after that game was over Braun put his hands on top of each other still trying to hold onto the ball. The L2M report also confirmed he did not signal or call for a timeout
You guys will still defend jamal even tho he’s getting paid $50 million scoring 12 points he got a few steals and blocks but is his bar that low now? Derrick white does that every game averaging 20 points 5 assists consistently and making less than jamal
The contract is what it is now. Let’s just accept it and then just talk about how his game looks. Otherwise he’ll always disappoint you. We get it he’s not worth his contract right now
He got retrospectively paid for the championship. I'd start Russ over him at this point. At least he brings energy on both ends and on any given night can give you 20/10/10
The contract is what it is, it can't be changed. The only way forward is to hope Jamal gets back to being who he was last year [until his march injury] / normal Jamal. That's the only way the Nuggets are going to win another ring this year so whinging about it doesnt do shit. [I do agree Derrick White would be absolutely incredible next to Jokic and wish the Nuggets had done something to get him when San Antonio shipped him to Boston]
Something that might be worth trying is to switch up the rotations so that the non Jokic minutes consists of Jamal, strawther, P wat, AG, and Zeke. Reason being you slow the game down and limit possessions during Jokic’s off time, you get size and flexibility for defense and rebounds, and you live with whatever offense an Murray AG/zeke pnr can provide. Right now with Russ the non minutes feel like a run and gun show that’s erratic and leads to more possessions for the other team. Slow the game as much as possible and those non Jokic minutes might be better
Jamal presses his own button way way more than MPJ...that button is also way worse than MPJ currently. Divorce yourself from what could have been or what might be with MPJ. What he is is a very very good player who is very consistent.
This team rides or dies with Jamal. They need him to be good. For that he needs to break through the wall that he keeps hitting. The only way for that is to keep trying
CB absolutely DID NOT call time out. I watched in slow motion 100 times. Unless 2 flat hands over eachother is now a time out. He never made a T.......
The issue with Jamal is, the way the team is built you need him to play like the second best player on the team. Right now is he playing like the fifth or sixth best player? If this is who Jamal is now, you need a massive jump from someone unexpected or this is who the team is now. As good as the Warriors. He did look more spry and athletic this game. So maybe that’s a good sign he may return to something close to who he was. But I ain’t gonna be Charlie Brown with the football here.
CB literally DID NOT call timeout. If instead Denver did have a timeout remaining and was trying to call it and the refs didn't give it I know for a damn fact you guys (especially you Matt Moore you contrarian clown) would be arguing "well CB didn't actually form the T with his hand correctly so it wasn't a timeout, sorry but no CB".. I'm tired of Matt's BS. Why don't he go on Locked on warriors instead
The Nuggets could of used Holmes this year that would of gave them Westbrook Holmes Watson Strawther Saric been a major disappointment Nnanj would of been released if Holmes had not got injured but their a bench and general manager from being a NBA title contender
That was a fun 4th quarter to watch. Jokic was kinda awful this entire game... trying to play team ball without a team. then he eventually decided FUCK IT, i'll do it myself. Got it done. Beat the Warriors with one aging superstar, no Draymond and a bunch of nobodies.
What do you mean they are playing bad and are still winning? Jokic is playing out of his mind. Then he’s gone and they lose to the pelicans. How much more “figuring it out” do they need.
1:18, Matt Moore, be careful, you're wife might want you to introduce her to that guy on the cover there, you don't want to make her boyfriend jealous do you?
I'll die on this hill alone, but play Zeke. He didnt do anything wrong in his 5 minutes, he didnt have a chance at a rebound when he gets swapped onto guards like Steph Curry and plays them pretty well for such a big guy. Malone need to play Zeke, I can fully see the talent he just needs to play to keep honing his skills as one of the youngest guys on the team. As soon as he goes somewhere that lets him play next to a center that contract will be a steal, and after the start of last season when the other young guy's couldnt play but Zeke got the hook I just feel bad for him. Cut him, trade him, or play him but he is 100% an 8 man rotation player if he'd get time to work on stuff instead of stopping the bench from floating off into space by sitting on it.
Jokic played 40 mins and he was only called for 1 foul…. I’m sorry but that doesn’t make any sense. If what Looney did on his 6th foul was a real foul then Jokic is getting away with a ton of fouls.

Ok
Murray is 12th best guard in the West now. So gross that this is what Jokic has for a number 2.
The contract is what it is now. Let’s just accept it and then just talk about how his game looks. Otherwise he’ll always disappoint you. We get it he’s not worth his contract right now

Who are you guys trying to fool. If Jamaal saw the floor as you guys say, why is he so inconsistent on offense as well as defense?
Happy birthday Ryan. We need a Christmas album with those Gametime vocals
Let’s go nuggets
Happy birthday Mr. Blackburn!
Happy Birthday, Ryan!! Enjoy your sweet 16!

Murray and MPJ selfishness so striking sometimes. Jokic must be getting sick of this.
Happy birthday Ryan 🎉

Hsppy Born Day!!!
Westbrook should be starting. Jamal can run 2nd unit.
About Kerr's paroxysm in regards to CB's ambiguous looking timeout call-- okay Boomer!
