- April now . Temperatures are slowly creeping up . This week we went back to our local water , Loch Lomond . I agree , it's great to have so much water and scenery on our doorstep . We are taking advantage of it all . Ok the gears are not cheap but throughout the years you can build up on the kit and then everything becomes affordable . Today's first half was difficult and I had to work hard for the biggest fish of the day . The lunch break was excellent and the second half of fishing went well . The easterly wind did not help , anchoring was difficult but all those roach kept us busy all afternoon . And this is all on our doorstep basically . thanks for watching and stay tuned until the next kayak Monday episode . Thanks

Paddle, fish, lunch with barbecued Scottish sirloin steak simmered in fresh Scottish cream and onions, honeycomb from Glen the beekeeper and homemade vegetable soup from Tam’s kitchen. I didn’t see desert! Back to fishing and all that stunning scenery with good friends. What a great day! Happy fishers!

Looks like you had a great time on the water. Have not had much chance to get out lately been doing a ton of yard work. It is great living on a lake but also Has it's downside. Had a pile of branches and logs I pull from the lake last year and have been trying to get it all cleaned up. Need to get past easter and will definitely have more time. This winter has just lingered this year but the temps are rising and bass fishing will be on. Great video and beautiful area to fish.
