    I have not been able to find a video on this concept that was so well-explained, thorough, and REASSURING. It's one thing to understand the material and make a video about it, but it's another thing to be able to teach it as thoughtfully as you did. Thank you SO much.

    I'm a trooper! I owe you the biggest thank you. I'm approaching the end of my first semester of college, and Calc II hasn't been the greatest. I've loved math my entire life, but this year I stuck with a professor who's really stifled my excitement. I literally laughed out loud while watching this video. Thanks for the clear explanations and humor along the way. This reminded me of my amazing math classes in high school, and why I love the subject area so much. Thank you Professor V!

      it's actually 2^(4n+4) around 13:15 but it's a small calculating mistake

      absolutely! i have a question. what should we do when they want us to do this in reverse? like when we are given what we got as an answer here and wanting to turn it back to the function? (sigma to function as in finding the sum instead of going through function to sigma)@@mathwithprofessorv

    At 25:22 is it (-1)^(n+2)? since we subtract one from the index and add 1 to all the n terms in the series?

    Isn’t there an error in q 3? Shouldn’t the distribution of( 2^4)^(n+1) be 2^(4n+4) not 2^(4n+2)?

    At 30:16, the denominator inside the sum should be 5^n, not 5^n+1. I used this to help with some homework and it didnt work with 5^n+1, but did work with 5^n even with n=0...

      No, you’re incorrect. I brought the 5 outside of the sum inside with 5^n, making it 5^(n+1).
