Hi - I have a TS8235 which has been converted for the amateur bands. I do, however, wish to bypass filters to introduce external audio and processing. I read in one of the service manuals that one needs to ‘tap’ T13. Can you kindly explain how to achieve this? Many thanks. Stephen

its all done on the DB15, and matching the pin in the software then tell that pin to inject signal at T13

It is just a heat gun, any rework station will do the job

      Hello,
this is hot gas, i did the same repair using my "Dremel versa tip", but i think the actual brand does not matter. I am quite sure any hot air gun with a fine nozzle, i.g. SMD Rework tool will do also.
The yellow stuff on the flexprint is a kind of hot-melt glue, the trick is to remelt just this glue without damaging other stuff the and press it down well so that it will stick firmly again ;-)
