Hi - I have a TS8235 which has been converted for the amateur bands. I do, however, wish to bypass filters to introduce external audio and processing. I read in one of the service manuals that one needs to ‘tap’ T13. Can you kindly explain how to achieve this? Many thanks. Stephen
Hello, this is hot gas, i did the same repair using my "Dremel versa tip", but i think the actual brand does not matter. I am quite sure any hot air gun with a fine nozzle, i.g. SMD Rework tool will do also. The yellow stuff on the flexprint is a kind of hot-melt glue, the trick is to remelt just this glue without damaging other stuff the and press it down well so that it will stick firmly again ;-) Chris

its all done on the DB15, and matching the pin in the software then tell that pin to inject signal at T13
what tool are you use ?
It is just a heat gun, any rework station will do the job
