Hey guys may I correct you. Mongolia declared independence from Manchuria, not from China. China has never conquered any country in its history. The Manchus were a nomadic people of Central Asia. Manchu is a very different nation from China
Yes, indeed. China was in fact conquered by Manchuria after the fall of the Mongolian Altan Khanate to Manchus. Manchurians were able to conquer China partially because they incorporated Mongolian armies
@@afasdfaswhat u talking? Southern mongols (todays inner mongolia) willingly joined manchus in conquering china. But sadly, after that manchus decided to claim northern and western mongols lands. So they started corrupting northern mongol elites and set the war between northern and western mongols. However it took them almost a 100 years to conquer western mongols which ended in 1740. Bolor Toli is a program and an app for any phone (available as a website) for translating between common spoken language and mongolian. I would recommend it because it has the pronunciation for the words.
It seems like you were visiting during Tsagaan Sar. EPIC time to visit. lol You can see all the cultural aspects of Mongolia during these days. I'm a Puerto Rican that currently lives in Ulaanbaatar so this was a fun video. :)
I'm honestly shocked to see travelers who would do such research on our history to know the meaning behind everything. Thanks for visiting our country.
Nice to see you guys visit Ulaanbaatar Mongolia thank you for coming and come back again and we will love to see you guys again and the fantesy clothes is named deel
To say thank you in Mongol you can say "баярлалаа"but also you can just ✋do this with your hand which means thank you. The lunch you had is called tsuvan "цуйван" . And you guys have to go to "hovsgol" it has a beautiful lake.
The reason they are all in fancy clothes is because of Lunar New Year. As a mongolian, we celebrate a lot with fancy clothes and food. Hope this helps! Explore the countyside next! It smells bad near the farms, but the landscapes are worth it!
I am happy that so many foreign people are coming into my country lately. Thank you for experiencing Mongolian cultures. I would recommend going to the countryside instead of the city.
