Zim people have suffered so much yet they bless us with beautiful uplifting music. Tuku, Mapfumo, Macheso, Brown and so many more ! Respect from a South African in Colombia
The Min of Arts and Culture need to recognize this great son of the soil. They can make him a music ambassador because clearly he loves Zim. Thank you Eirik. The world needs more people like you.
I have never been to Zimbabwe. This video made me want to go there. I could feel the loving spirit of the people and country. I love the vibe in Alick Macheso’s music and also Jah Prayzah’s music and I can feel the good vibes of Zimbabwe. One Love from Sweden. ✌🏽💜😊
As an American, I really love this music. I don’t know about any other Americans, but I feel this style of music should be brought over to the United States. It’s so upbeat and beautiful sounding.
Eirik you really amazed me about how good you were at that show with Alick Macheso. Man you smashed it . I didn't somewhere in Europe there is a white man who is captivated by our Sungura music let alone being able to play the guitars so effectively. That was a bomb.
This music is so beautiful!!! Wow what a treasured find! The musicians are red-hot, man! I have studied extensively music from the Middle East, North Africa, Southern and Eastern Europe, the Indian subcontinent and Saharian Africa, and I didn’t know this type of music. I shall need to investigate further..The guitars’sounds are beautiful and the bass player who plays at the gig is dynamite!
