What a wonderful haul! I don't find nice items like that where I live. Plus everything here is priced much higher. A doily is usually usually priced from 3 to 5 dollars. I have some items i purchased years ago, before I had even heard of junk journals. They would look nice in a journal journal, but i'll never cut them up. One piece is on my dresser.
Lovely finds and gorgeous results staining! Have you ever tried berry tea on fabric? My recent experiments with berry herbal tea on paper dried blue and I'm pondering now if that's true for cotton too. Also, do you add salt to your tea brew? 🥰
Oh now that sounds like something I need to try! I have a few berry tea bags. I used actually berries on paper and they go blue, now on my to do list 😆💜
Love this haul and the tea dye result. All the varying shades in the different fabrics is stunning. 😊
Thank you Maxine, I really was quite surprised by how well they turned out 💜
Great finds Gez, beautiful pieces of lace ❤
Thank you Lucy, now I need to use them 💜

I do that all the time 🤦♀️ I am so amazed by how well the tea dying was 💜
I never find nice lace stuff in charity shops here. I believe there is another junk journaller getting there before me ❤
It’s not me honest 🤣 I went today and didn’t find much. My hauls are not one visit. I got one lovely scarf today from the best one for lacy scarves.
