- The press call for the musical 'Jamie' was held today (the 8th) at the LG Art Center in Yeoksam-dong.
Based on a true story, the musical ‘Jamie' shows 17-year-old high school student Jamie's dreams, challenges, and the love of family. After premiering in Sheffield, UK in 2017, it received a favorable reaction from audiences and entered the West End in the same year and is currently being performed in an open run. The first Korean performance in Asia will be performed as a replica that reproduces the charm of British original production.
In this performance, Jamie is played by Jo Kwon, Shin Joo-hyup, MJ (Astro), and Ren (NU'EST). Choi Jeong-won, Kim Sun-young, Yoon Hee-suk, and Choi Ho-jung also participated, together lighting up the stage.

Not just Astro, the whole company seems to be very progressive! A trainee of them was a lead role in the first Korean BL-Kdrama!

mj portrays emotions so well!! look at how his eyes sparkle when looking at the heels and how his expression changes when he realizes the war inside himself and the need of wanting to let the real jamie out. our mjamie is doing such a good job and i am so proud of him. him choosing this role is so meaningful and such a huge step into his musical career. mjamie fighting!!

제이미 뮤지컬 처음으로 보러 갔던 날이 생각나네요! 그때 진짜 앙상블배우분들과 주연 조욘 배우분들이 보여주시는 합이 정말 너무 좋아서 보면서 같이 신나고 감정이입이 도 잘되더라구요, 대극장인만큼 뮤지컬이 티켓값이 있었지만 그래도 돈 아깝다는 생각이 안들정도로 너무 재밌었어요 더 자주 보러 가고싶었지만 상황 상 자주 못 보러가게 되서 슬프지만 마지막공연까지도 화이팅!! 배우분들 응원합니다

today, 22.06.04, I just watched this video for the 1st time, I cried, as a gay man myself I feel so grateful that MJ played this role, I love ASTRO, and the boys in the group. They has been my best friends and helped me get through difficult times more easily through their music. I feel so happy and so grateful 💜
