I find it interesting to move away from complex builds that more often than not require more time and knowledge than the production itself. Personally, I was slow to make the jump to SASS, however, now that I have made the transition, nesting is another world for me that I would not want to do without. Love your content.
The good news about nesting, at least, is that you won't have to do without it for much longer. Older Safari versions are really the hold out, at this point (a lot of folks don't update their iOS versions because of how it negatively affects iPhone performance, and Safari updates are tied to the OS). caniuse.com/css-nesting
