How To Create Sudo Password On Steam Deck

Here's how to set up a Sudo password on Steam Deck.
Sudo or’ superuser do’ permits you to temporarily elevate your current user account to access the system’s root level. In simpler terms, the Sudo password allows access to commands as the Deck user.
By default, the Steam Deck is usually shipped without a Sudo password. It means it can’t be used to run a Sudo command unless the user can set up a Sudo password.
How To Create Sudo Password On Steam Deck
Turn on Steam Deck
Switch to desktop mode
Click on Application launcher, the first icon from the left on the taskbar
Click on Settings, then select System settings
Scroll down and click on Users
Click on Change Password
Type in your password
Tap on Set password
Since the password is created, you can type it in while accessing the terminal on your Steam Deck.
