Mercedes Econic 2629 MUT VarioPress- FKF Zrt.

Here's one of the older units FKF Zrt. runs, a Mercedes Econic 2629 paired with an MUT VarioPress. I'm not completely sure on the exact year of this truck, but I believe it is somewhere between 2005-2010. FKF still has a bunch of these in their fleet, so these trucks are fairly common around Budapest. These trucks seem to serve their purpose well, with a decent tipper speed, and continuously cycling packer, making for a fast and efficient truck overall. Additionally, the "ribbed" VarioPress body and the Econic 2629 go incredibly well together, making for a pretty sweet looking truck in my opinion. This video was filmed in a residential neighborhood, so enjoy the mix of 80L, 120L, and 240L wheelies, as well as 110L tubes, which are still very common in this area. A huge thank you goes out to the crew for allowing me to follow along and record for a little. Enjoy!

@@HunorCsernus a zöld hulladékot nehéz le videózni, mert azok nagyon gyorsan haladnak és nem mindenhol aknák meg. Lomtalanításról szeretnek majd, csak még nem találtam olyan környéket ahol lett volna mikor ott voltam.

Meg amit még akartam kérdezni, hogy azt tudod, hogy biohulladékot Pesten milyen autókkal viszik? Ugyanezekkel a ,,hagyományos autókkal vagy speciálisan kialakítottal (Kecskeméten külön vásároltak erre a célra egyet)?

@@HunorCsernus A kertes házaktól Pesten MUT PowerPress és Geesinknorna felépítmény-es autók szedik. Az étel maradékos kukákrol ami már néhány helyen található, annyit tudok hogy egy olyan autóval ürítik ki őket ami ki is mossa a kukákat. Szerintem egy RotoPress lehet, de nem vagyok benne biztos mert még nem láttam.

Otto Tubes on the European tippers they were designed for is a neat sight. More than half the route consists of them based off this footage haha. The "lifters" have an impressive efficiency of hooking on the Tubes given their shape. It can be hard to tell the age of foreign trucks from an American perspective but it's obvious this one's got some age and I'm a fan of the retro cab appearance. Great video!
