I sit here tonight listening to this song and thinking about my wife who I’ve been married to for 29 years and then With and total 31 years . Who left home on Father’s Day of 2023 . She was put through hell before I met her. That hill started when she was only eight years old. And I could go into the gory details. But I’ll just say this, because of the hell that she went through. She ended up having borderline personality disorder, PTSD, anxiety disorder. And suffers from manic depression. And right now the personality disorder is as worse as it’s ever been. She has switched over to a personality. That can’t love can’t trust that manipulates anyone, including her own children. This personality doesn’t love anything or anyone. I’m desperately trying to get her to get help. And have failed at trying to get her the help she needs . She is with someone else at this point and thinks that she’s in love. She did the same thing back in 2006. And ended up in the hospital for six weeks. After being properly, medicated, and getting therapy. She managed to be mostly happy up until last Father’s Day. Sadly, if not for her mental illness. She would still be here with me and her children. I truly believe that God himself put me and her are in each others path. That we are soulmates. I have literally shared her pain and her trauma. I have lived through all of her nightmares. From what happened to her. And you cannot un live or forget something like that once you’ve shared it with someone you love so dearly. I pray day and night for her and our children.
I wish you & your family peace within your souls bud. I don't know what your precious wife went through so I'll just say this - I too had a tourterous childhood a life where my monsters weren't hiding in the closet or under the bed because they were a shadow in every room - every night. Please know that you all are loved - we give our all because the ones who truly loves us are everything & we do our absolute best to fight such crippling memories some days we win - most days we lose, but please don't hold it against us that some days we walk with those shadows telling us that it was all our faults & that we aren't worthy of love or kindness & yes we know deep down we were children & couldn't be responsible the scars put on our hearts by those who were supposed to protect us are inescapable you are locked in a prison inside your own being. I try to fight every day still & suffer but my most suffering is because of what my scars leave on the ones I love the most. God bless you and your family my friend. 🙂❤️🌼🙏🦋🌻
