Exactly right - it was made in 2006, first broadcast in 2007, then aired a few more times that year on various channels... Sadly though, I don't think attitudes in the city have changed that much...

The problem isn't their pay. The problem is many are trading knowing that it will end in a catastrophe and the losses are paid by bailouts. They are being rewarded short term for something that is a long term process.

I have heard that although those "charity dinners" say they raise X amount of money, by the time the cost of food, people, and entertainment is paid from the money taken in, the actual amount raised is next to nothing....anyone else ever heard anything like that?

As my father always said: "John Milton is still remembered, even after almost 400 years after his death. Nobody remembers asshole that made couple of millions and spend it on Ferrari."
This was just Enron bubble 2.0. Jeffrey Skilling was at least charismatic and almost genius. Even on his trial, you just buy his words on face value. Money weren't his final motivation. These guys are bad influence for young people.

Adam Sanchez This ANDY LANK SYSTEM is perfect for anyone. Even if you have absolutely no trading experience! I often warn newbie traders not to dive into trading Binary Options thinking that you will be able to earn an incredible amount of profits on your own! Whenever you try something for the first time you are bound to make mistakes and mistakes in trading means that you are losing money! That is why having Option Navigator software is what you need!

+Adam Sanchez actually, i tried to google the interviewees from the show. it turns out that they do exist, but their job titles and serving firms are not relevant or closed to what they were doing in the film. so, either this documentary if a story film, or they are changing their paths now..

24' : I can't understand why a businessman, a man who's life IS business, flying over to London from Istanbul, doesn't already own a suit that looks great for his meeting the following morning. One guess is, the weather in Istanbul is hot, and the dress code is casual. So he's been stuffing his face; packed on a few pounds and this last minute meeting requires a new bespoke, because he's outgrown his wardrobe.
Okay...maybe that's it. Good for her. Perhaps she's been sending him cakes?

CANTER FITZGERALD ... the CEO that was on the news on 9/11 and then crying for MONEY because his financial firm couldn’t meet their financial obligations???
It wasn’t just him asking for money for the 9/11 families.
    $80k on 10 tables??? Wow. 🙄😒

Right...I hope nobody actually believes that a financial trader making that much money doesn't even know how to spell the word 'practice'.

Definitely not justified and not fair, either. Seems that's the way things will always be, though...

I am about to be employed as a trader in London thanks to my excellent personal trading history.
Some people can not take it like you Polly... it is understandable. Most traders are male because they have that aggressive gambler/risk taker in them, that attitude drives a trader to do long hours.
I think the money paid out is justified...but is it fair? Depends how you view it. I think it is the fault of the system itself. The system is broken which allows bonuses to be justified. If you want this to stop then change the system, until then... enjoy.
