I grew up there. good people, friendly, very very good food, unbelievable landscapes and you can literally feel life oozing from everywhere, unlike Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca. they should have filmed the central park, during winter they had a fairytale painted train running through it, sooo magical, there's also a lake with boat and stadium, some of the best highschool in the country; Liviu Rebreanu, where I had studied, has a botanical garden with trees unique in all Europe. there's so much more to see than the roofs of some houses. it's a clean, well kept town, with both thousands of years old architercture and new one. it's also where the first movie Dracula was filmed
Sadly, Transylvania is ancient Hungarian homeland, and was part of the Kingdom of Hungary for over 1,000 years. (918 to 1918). The thieves of 1919, gave it to a new Romanian state, in order to punish the Hungarian Nation, In 1919, Hungary lost 75% of its traditional homeland. They have not forgotten this injustice.
Transylvania is Romanian ancient land! You forgot what Gesta Hungarorum says that Magyars stole the land from the Vlachs. And aren’t 1000. You lost Transylvania to the Ottoman Empire in 1526 and it was a vassal of the Ottoman Empire until it was conquered from the Ottomans by the Austrian Empire becoming a province under the direct rule of the Austrian emperor. Besides many leaders of Transylvania were Vlachs , like Iancu of Hunedoara and others.
In Transylvania was a referendum and there were elected 1128 representatives who voted the unification with the kingdom of Romania! Even your own representative Joseph de Fay agreed to the unification in front of the first gathering of the Romanian parliament after the war. You were utterly defeated in 2 wars and we got Transylvania fair and square, nobody stole it from you! Even the Saxons agreed to the unification in front. Learn real history and not stories that your historians make up! And you know what is funny? Your monument that shows Hungary with a sword in it saying “Nem, nem, soha!” When oops it happened just so! 😂😂😂😂😂
The city was constructed, and founded by German immigrants. Its German name: Bistritz. It was one of the fortified cities of Siebenbürgensachsen , a colonial system founded and cultivated by the large German population of Transylvania of past centuries.

Bistritz is a Slavic name. Its original German name is Nösen (this can be found also in the foundation letter). Otherwise yes.
Yes; but it was built on Romanian land! We’ve been always the majority but kept down by Saxons and Ungarians. Now it’s ours and will always be!

Foarte bine, spre dezamagirea ta ne laudam si cu o tara reintregita de un neamt si o britanica, asa si?!
Așa și?
