When you mentioned Tyrion looking at his hand to check for greyscale and pondering its significance, and compared it to Dunk wondering about his foot…made me think of Tyrion ending up as Hand of the King and Dunk’s foot holding the door at Summerhall. Pretty cool foreshadowing if these play out that way…anyhow, CHEERS! 🤍🥂🫖
Thinking about how Bran will develop, I can't help but think of Paul Atreides from Dune. Being called the "child-man" or boy wise beyond his years with the gift/curse of prescience. Where Dune did age Paul a few years in the 1st book I think George is playing with the idea of an all knowing god king who is also a child.
Ned being the Knight of the laughing tree is boring. Lyanna being it is great. So to solve this conundrum we just have to ask ourselves: is George R R Martin a good writer?
