This was the Best Interview ever. She told her truth. Folk need to understand that being on a team is not all glitter and gold. These interviews show the human side of the dancers. We can stop bad mouthing them and start encouraging them.
I LOVE the fact she included Janae and Jada on her all star team. The alumni seem envious of the way they have evolved the team (for the better). Great interview!
Or they just pick their favorite Stingettes. You guys really like to make something out of nothing. I guarantee your fave and somebody else's fave aren't always going to be the same. And, for the record, I would pick Jada and Janae on my all-time great Stingette list.
I don't think the alumni are envious at all. They all represent the same Sensational Stingettes brand. Each captain and team brings a different spice but they all have that Stingette foundation. 🔥🔥🔥
This interview made me love Sha’Diamond so much more! Many of the Stingettes try to tiptoe around the topic of Bridgette and Oliver, but Sha’Diamond let them HAVE IT!!!! Yassss to speaking your mind!! I think she would’ve been a GREAT captain, but I agree that she would have been berated by higher ups, much like Janae was this past year.

Best one! So raw and real. It’s not that we always want the drama or “tea” to be messy, but as followers we like to know the real! We always know there’s more than we see, but what is it so we know! I think it would make people think before tearing dancers down and saying so many negative comments.

So awesome! She has a new follower! Hey girl hey! 👋🏾 Come on Squad Buddies, let’s get her pass that 10k!
This one here, my TOP fav interview next to Taneria, Jada, Asia, and Jordan. She spoke HER TRUTH weather we liked it or not. She kept it real about on how she felt about EVERYBODY, while still giving folks their just dues. I even think her view of the current stings wasn't bad either. She still said they have lots of talent and that they're fire, just wasn't that sting vibe she was looking for, and that's ok. At least she explained and not no weird tip toe around it. She dropped so much knowledge, and I hope her team is learning as much as they can from her.

ShaDiamond, Tierra, and Gabby are my favorite interviews thus far. They said how they felt while also keeping it respectful. 10/10 Highly recommended. 🙌🙌🙌 Also, it seems like Jsettes are the only ones that don't have drama with their coordinators. I literally never heard anything bad about Worthy or Crowley. Dolls and Stingettes got too much mess behind the scenes and can't seem to hire decent coordinators. I also notice Jsettes alumni are very supportive of their little sisters and speak highly of one another. These other teams are... different.
I've noticed this too, not only as a J-Sette fan but also a fan of HBCU dance overall. It's sad that the Stingettes and Dolls are caught up in some drama because of either coordinators or other band directors. These ladies come to these teams because dancing is a passion, and these administrations don't even have the common decency to treat them with respect as if they're inferior and it's downright disgusting.

It may be time for Dr. O...TO GO! The common denominator is him. I think he struggles with the fact that both Stingettes and Honeybeez have grown to be a bigger brand than the MMH so it’s no surprise that he is super controlling.
@@nottoomuch87 I was watching old school clips from the early-mid 2000’s and I said to myself “If only Dr. O focused on the band , they could sound this good again.” He needs to let the dance sponsors focus on the young women who are on the teams. I liked this interview, but I am going to comment on a repeating theme I see in these alumna stingette videos about the current class or classes and I am going reference Gabi from SU. I feel like Janae, in particular, has had to do the same and people on the outside love it, but those in the "sisterhood of stingette" may see it as a threat because for sooooooo long, Asia was the standard and now there is chatter of someone new bringing something a bit different. You can even hear Sha'Diamond say (Paraphrased: If your not dancing like how Asia taught me, then your not dancing like a stingette and I could be completely wrong). I feel, in my limited understanding of dancing, that standards and traditions should be carried, but they need to be built upon for the future. What good is it to have a seed that you planted, but you never want to let it grow freely? Long story short, every class of dancer is different and so is the generation. Asia was the standard, in my limited opinion, Janae is the new standard, and someone after her will come along and become the next standard. Now does that take away from what the other one did?
