Great list! You described my exact experience of Van Helsing. I remember seeing it in the theater and absolutely hating it, literally the only aspect of it I enjoyed was the brilliant Alan Silvestri score! But when it came out on video, I kept thinking about the bad acting (especially from Dracula and his brides), so I watched it again and found myself so entertained by the movie’s awfulness!
The Grudge was directed by the same man who directed Ju-On I like both movies equally because they complement each other actually. Information displayed in one enhances the story of the other and vice versa
