Please give me your opinion. Where is not good Let me improve.

Thank you for watching the video. please support me. Thanks you very much. love everyone.
Old Crest amps are worth restoring. I've got a bunch of them, and they kick ass!! 8001 is my favourite.
Beautiful restoration
Very nice job, I apreciate this.
Restaurado amplificador de áudio 😉
Good job brother
You are really Viswakarma
38:45 Zip-tying the common cable connections together is a great idea. Never thought of that.
Excelente trabajo
Хорошая работа! Видно пришлось потрудится, а то только платы намывают и контакты пропаивают в видео в основном. Побольше бы таких видео.
Francisco Brasil 🤙🤘🤜🤛👏🏽👏🏽
Great work!!
Subscribed from Australia! Very good knowledge and skills. GREAT channel.
Shout out idol
I liked
Good job
Very nice work
Love watch this
U R THE HEEEEEROOOO....❤
Muito bom!!!!!!!!!
I’m not big on electrical stuff but just by watching I have learned a lot. One question though. On one unit under there is a black multi sided object that was removed but yet a different one installed. Can someone with more know how let me know why?
You make miracles…
Show amazing
Great brand name for a capacitor company. Capacitor Technologies.
How do you fix the amps so fast , i am electronic engineer , i have a lab and i am not able to fix them so fast , do you have a manual or a course , or a book that you recommend , even when you take apart the cable you dont take note ' please answer.
Amazing job🎉
Good 👍
mucha calidad tiene esa potencia
the drivers transistors you used can only provide 1 amp, which is not enough to drive 5 transistors at full power. Instead of 2sc4793-2sa1837 you could use at least the pair 2sc5171-2sa1930.
How do you just unplug those connections and know where they all go again
The original value of the emitter balancing resistors is 0.2 Ohm, replaced by 0.33 Ohm - never mind...

replacing TO-3 with TO-220 ?
that is perfectly fine to do, some TO -3 cases are no longer made , they do take a lot more space, also .As you saw You just extend the pins with wires.
@@davidhamm5626 may be if you dont use much power. but that 2SB600 over there is rated for 200 Watts each !
@@iceberg789 Okay, I see what you are saying, is there a chance that they are being run at less that max voltage ? If so I think that the sub would be doable....
@@davidhamm5626 that amp actually would put out much more power without those TO-220 as outputs. its like using cotton strings to connect two iron chains.
this amp is made for stage / outdoor use, but if someone uses them at living room, as for PA , then may be nobody will notice anything.
@@iceberg789 So , how much power does it make, and how much of a loss of power would you see using the to-220 case. on the same heat sink ?
I need it for my speaker
Wow

hola amigo de donde sos
Maravilhoso
How are you getting accurate resistor readings, When you have the multimeter set incorrectly, and everything is just maxxing out the needle?!?!?!
Impossible to tell if a resistor has lost or gained resistance, and is in need or replacement.. Because the meter is set incorrectly....
A lot of these restoration videos are fake, so you have to take that into account as these are intended to be more clickbait/ASMR. But from my observation, it seems more of a "general best guess" approach on the kind of repairs these channels do. I liked this video, but i lost it when he hacked in those transistors on the heatsink on-top without finding the proper parts. If you were going to do something like that, I would have at least had an aluminum PCB fabbed into its footprint with an SMD component that was equivalent. But whatever works I suppose. I wouldn't trust what he did to last, however... Especially when he literally just blobbed the collector leads onto the mounting screws
Agree om that. A lot is staged, this isn’t much of a restoration, juist for the looks, why measuring caps resistance, not even matching parallel transistors used as finals in PA amps etc.
@@RTBNL Yeah there was a lot of mixing-matching on parts going on in these videos, and you cannot test caps properly with a multimeter. Yup, its all for show. One thing I have quickly learned while working on high-power car audio gear, matching is a must. even down to the batch on Class D stuff...
@@RTBNL Yup.... As a amplifier repair hobbyist myself.. It does make me cringe when people replace transistors etc, without gain matching them. 🤣
Gain matching can be done with a little chinese component tester (Sure, Not 100% accurate, But its better than no attempt to at all... Not everyone can afford an expensive Curve tracer..😂
@@THEtechknight TO 3 parts are not available, as replacements for every thing. How easy is it to "fab a part up, " without a machine shop ? And could you give me a SMD part number that will sub for a 2n3055...

Fake video.................This guy whoever it is is not the real original Mr. Electricity. The soldering is way to crude not to have shorts.

WTF??? are you doing????????????????😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The most perfect restoration = paints on rust. Unsubbed.
And what about that painting technique? I guess when you paint over rust, your technique isn't all that important
You can do that, they have this stuff called etching primer, lets you skip a step...
give mee😢
I remove my subscription from this channel. His father was the better restorer, he is just doing stuff that don’t make sense at all
Electrically. good restoration. Cosmetically, very poor. Just painted straight over rust. Definitely not the most perfect restoration I will ever see. Cosmetically, I've seen restorers who take more attention to detail when restoring an old tin can.
He is showing how on average restorations look. Yes, if it was a device exposed to the outside elements it would be a questionable fix up to the cosmetics. Overall he showed it is possible that a tin can can be fixed up ☺️
do not touch any electronic in the future!!!! you are a destroyer! how about basic rules of electronics????😂😂😂😂😂
Please
Restoration, are you joking, it is just repair and cleaning and some poor paint job. sorry
How would you have handled it ?Is there anyplace where I could see your work I am always willing to learn....
Repairing is restoration
That is what you call a real restoration yes. I think you just don’t know. No problem the internet is here to learn you
Wow
