@@SlipknotMachinehead PvP there's no competition, DS3 is vastly superior in terms of net-code, balancing, overall feel and length of combats. PvE is argueable, but DS3 is much more polished (since it's much smaller)
I disagree cause it just looks like a bunch of mud and poo. It is interesting but gets stale after a while tbh. Ds1 and DeS nails the etherial vibe better IMO
@@aisuyukii yeah I definitely feel that , elden ring seems like more of a high fantasy vibe compared to older games more darker themes of the older games.
DS3 is so much fun when it's not solved and there's no lines of play. SL60 +6 is my home, and people just do whatever the hell they want there. Jumping to 125, though, you get your Estus cancelers, hardswap Desert Pyromancer set Murky BS, bowglitchers, and the ever-classic parry shield hardswap parry Chaos dagger hardswap riposte Gundyr's halberd hardswap L2 L2 L2. It feels like a bell curve, where you can't invade High Wall at level 20 without three unscaled phantoms blasting you with Repeating Crossbow exploding bolts, and you can't invade Pwntiff at level 125 without four guys (sometimes five) pulling every glitch imaginable for the sole purpose of BMing you upon death. Almost everywhere in between, though? You'll find some of the most creative minds in Souls doing some funky stuff, just because nowhere else is hospitable to it. As a chronic pyromancy addict, that environment is kinda sucky for me. Quality builds, both physical and elemental, only shine at higher levels. I've just been turned off from those higher levels because of the insane tryharding that comes with the territory. My beloved level 60 can actually work, but the spells, stats, and rings are borderline _solved_ with how level-intensive the build is. There's also a great thematic invasion area for pyromancers that doesn't have any natural invaders, but it's way too early to make a level 60 build consistent. It's a very awkward place to be as a quality enjoyer 😪 Thank you for reading my thought dump. You've inspired me some, and I'm grateful for that.
Ive picked Ds3 back up since your last vid on it and wow it is better than I remembered. I used to play a ton but man coming back after ER is so fun. Its also crazy just how active it is too, Ive been having a ton of fun getting pulled in as the spear of the church almost non stop using a ds1 cosplay build
Peak Souls 3 Invasions?! I would say that DS3 probably still has the best PvP, both in terms of balance and how it handles duels/invasions and how they feel for both the host and phantoms There's far less that I can think of that's obnoxiously broken in DS3 than Elden Ring (which is one of my main problems with Elden Ring) Though one of my main gripes with DS3 is that I wish there was just a little bit more weapon/armor/spell variety, like how I wish they brought back just a bit more of DS2's armor/weapons, and also how they didn't keep Bloodborne's running strong attack inputs (I don't know why they decided to not include them in DS3 honestly)
You should definitely mess around with the aquamarine dagger if you get the chance... favorite weapon in all their games to date, especially for pvp. That's the biggest thing missing from Elden Ring is a few Bloodborne esque trick weapons imo... well besides covenants that is.
Lvl 30 with plus 3 normal/plus 1 special weapons in Farron keep is very active on PlayStation even during off hours if you prefer a low level experience, lotssss of fight clubs and normal people playing through

Straight sword R2 pokes actually hitting and not whiffing 95% of the time like in Elden Ring? Ahhh, how exquisite.
joy
I miss the vibe of the world in ds3 ,it was so ethereal and dream like

So much fun, hope you keep enjoying and bringing back people’s attention to ds3 🔥
VERTICALITY! (Great vid. Reminds me of one of my favorite RUclipsrs/streamers. Hope he's doing stuff besides ER, as well.)
Been playing ds3 myself aswell, making a frostbite character cause I missed all the bloodshade/frostshade fun in ds3s hayday
watching this, I kinda miss my leo ring lucerne build..

Your commentary is hilarious lmao
can you recommend Soul Level for invasion ? IDK which level is best for pvp
I meant. . . which SL that has this most players to invade
For DS3? I’m level 55 with a +6 weapon and I’ve found tons of invasions in irithyll dungeon and the main Irithyll area too

after 1000h of Ds3 i can say, Ds3 has more better pvp than ER.
This is great reminds me of saint riot
What lvl were you in this Video?
DS3 NUMERO UNO
I hear you 0:46
Yeah ER pvp is just demoralizing at this point. 9/10 times, even when I win, I just feel bored and bitter about it lol
I miss non open world invasions and I miss the combat in ds3 its not spamming bs all the time because there is actually stamina to manage lol
What about bob is comedy gold. Subbed
is it still alive in ds3?
I like this channel
My level is 345 what is the best place to invade ?
What is your level
Best place is still 130 down to 50
Level ?

Man I played 6000 hours of ds3. I’m really about to go back! Elden ring just isn’t doing it for me.
I love my condensed Linear Souls 3, not that bloated Open Ring.
Elden Ring would be a better game if there was no horse and map was adequately sized.
4:00 i'd say the pvp is equally good to elden ring, in most cases it's more balanced but also more janky.
I'd personally disagree, but i wonder why you think that elden ring has more balanced invasions?
