[4K] Seoul Christmas Lights Walk in Sinchon Night + BTS JIN Birthday | 서울 신촌의 크리스마스 조명과 함께하는 야경 산책

Hello, This is Walk Together.
In December, Christmas lights began to be installed one by one on many streets in Seoul. Sinchon, located in Seodaemun-gu, is also a place where you can walk while looking at the beautiful Christmas lights every year. Starting at Sinchon Station, I walked down the transfer passage to Hyundai Department Store, saw the advertisement for BTS Jin's birthday, and came out to Yonsei-ro, filled with pretty lights. BTS Seokjin's birthday advertisement was also appearing on Uplex, and many people were enjoying the evening hours along Yonsei-ro.
So, I walked around the Hyundai Department Store and looked around the alleys, then moved to the myeongmul-gil. Another Christmas lights were installed on the myeongmul-gil. After walking with the lights, I headed to Baramsan Park to look down on the night view of Sinchon. Previously, there were only stairs, so it was difficult to climb, but after January 2022, an elevator is installed, so it will be easier to climb up and enjoy the night view. And finally, we finished our winter night walk with the Christmas lights in front of Sinchon Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Shall we walk together?

12월이 되면서 서울의 거리거리마다 크리스마스 조명이 하나 둘 설치되기 시작했습니다. 서대문구에 위치한 신촌 역시 매년 아름다운 크리스마스 조명들을 보며 걸을 수 있는 곳입니다. 신촌역에서 시작해서 현대백화점 환승통로를 걸으며 방탄소년단 진의 생일 광고를 보고, 밖으로 나오니 예쁜 조명들이 가득했습니다. 유플렉스에서도 진의 생일광고가 나오고 있었고, 연세로를 따라서 많은 사람들이 저녁 시간대를 즐기고 있었습니다.
그렇게 현대백화점을 끼고 한바퀴 돌면서 골목골목을 둘러보고 다음에는 명물길로 발걸음을 옮겼습니다. 명물길에는 또 다른 모습의 크리스마스 조명이 설치되어 있었는데, 조명과 함께 걷다가 신촌의 야경을 내려다보기 위해 바람산 공원으로 향했습니다. 이전에는 계단만 있어서 어렵게 올라가야 했지만, 1월 이후로는 엘리베이터가 설치되어 조금 더 쉽게 올라가서 야경을 즐길 수 있게 될 것 같네요. 그리고, 마지막으로 경의중앙선 신촌역 앞의 크리스마스 조명들과 함께 겨울 야경산책을 마쳤습니다. 함께 걸어보실까요?

REALLY??? Christmas celebration got so much smaller then when I was growing up (I'm 42 years-old )
Departments give out presents (biggest present was kimchi refrigerator), also, if showing at Christmas eve presents ×2 bigger then what were actually give.
school decorated Christmas ,Street playing Christmas Carol everywhere and Christmas tress.
Also, you Can't not find a restaurants without reservation (*🛇KOREAN go out and enjoy Christmas Not staying at home)
P.s Did you know that origin of Christmas tress comes from Korea!!

@@87suzini Oh, that’s more surprising still! Did the Christmas festivities/celebrations get smaller just in the last two years (cos of the pandemic), or did it gradually grow smaller since when you were younger?
I thought that the Christmas tree tradition originated in Germany, or you may be referring to the beautiful Korean fir trees that originated from Cheju island that are popular as Christmas trees perhaps? Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you too!
