    I remember back when I was a kid, I could take my allowance and buy a couple packs, a candy bar, soda and still had change. You can't do that anymore. They've priced the little kids out... no more collecting for the fun of it, it's all business now. I miss the old days.

      It seems like today, it’s still geared to our generation and not the kids of today with boxes into the hundreds. Most kids, including my own, can’t afford a box of cards.

    I was a huge fan of the Flair sets growing up, so I might go with a box. They still look like they retain that sort of airbrush look.

      It’s a gorgeous looking set and I like that they kept some of the retro type look with the cards. Older boxes still sell for about $400 so it’s nice to know they keep their value.

    $300 for one box and X-Men goes for $450 for a *box*, not case. Not to mention the usual lack of enthusiasm for the X-Men brand in general by these card companies

      Well I find now that preordering is really no longer necessary as the demand has been much lower with these prices.
