Pisses me off they never feature this jam in the later games, this is the best theme for He Fei Castle! Plus I miss this version of Cao Pi instead of the pretty boy versions they made him as later on. My friend and I used to joke saying he was Darth Maul whenever one of us would play him. Cao Pi's moveset in this game was beast!
Cao Pi is the most awesome person on wei's side. I loved it when they introduced him in dw5 Such an awsome character to play as and his attitude is so cool, calm, and collected
I looked all over for this, THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHHHHH, i love this song, brillent, love the rift on the guitar, am trying to learn this, lol, i loved the battle as well, Zhao Yun, running around kicking some major ass,
*"SUN QUAN: THEIR NUMBERS ARE FEW, WIPE THEM ALL OUT!"* , *"CAO PI: I SHALL FOREVER SEAL THE FATE OF WU!"* , I played this stage in DW5 like a thousand times to farm my characters to maximum XD
I didn't believe it was slow and boring in my teenage years when I played this game for the first time, but as a young adult I can certainly appreciate it a lot more than before. The DW installments range from fairly good to bad when it comes to gameplay, but their soundtracks are all epic.
I'm convinced that this song must have been plaigiarized from something else. Because Koei is DEAD FUCKING SET on making sure it never shows up as a bonus or in DLC, despite being the best BGM from DW5 (yes, better than Great Red Spirit).
The best leader was definitely Cao Cao by far. Had Sun Ce not died so young he would’ve rivaled Cao Cao. The two of them shared many of the same qualities and are often compared.
@@yipzhengqi4991 agreed. Historically, Lu Bu wasn’t even that great. He was blown up in strength in the novel to boost the three sworn brothers’ reputation for fighting him at Hu Lao gate (historically they never fought him at all until they joined with Cao Cao at Xia Pi and it wasn’t in single combat even then).
@@Chris_MarMar Guan Yu probably beats all the names mentioned above, in terms of leadership, reputation, strength, value , etc... heck even to date he has shrines dedicated to him through out east and south east asia
I think Dynasty Warriors 5 had the best last missions. Wu Zhang Plains the stage He Fei Castle and Bai Di Castle were all epic and huge. Now i love Wu Zhang Plains in dw 3 and imo that will always be my personal favorite because it didn't cut out things no matter what side you chose. For example in 5 if you are shu you ahve like only 5 officers yet if you are wei same thing and the enemy army is always larger. In 3 it was always equal and still just as epic. Either way the stages were great.

the funny thing is, the "cao" in cao cao and cao pi.. etc is actually pronounced as if it were spelt "tsao". they pronounce it like this in dynasty warriors 6
They pronounced the Chinese names in English.. such as pronouncing Cao Cao as Cow Cow (supposed to be Tsao Tsao), Sun Jian as Soon Gyan (Soon Cyen), and Liu Bei as Leeuw Bay (Leeuw Pay)
This is He Fei Castle, not He Fei... there's a difference. You can see it if you have DW5 Empires or Extreme legends, there's a song for He Fei and one for He Fei Castle... this is the battle of He Fei Castle.
I wouldn't go as far as to call it cheerful... I'd call it more energetic than cheerful, really... It sure gives me energy... maybe that's why it's called "Dual NRG"
Chaos Mode, playing with Sun Quan for the first time, last story mission, EVERY OTHER FREAKING PERSON IN MY ARMY DEAD AND I STRUGGLE TO CONTROL ENDLESS FLOWS OF SOLDIERS ATTACKING MY GOD DAMN REMAINING TROOPS TILL IT WAS ME BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF CAO PI...awesome times.
I'm not sure, to be honest. I don't know everything about the game, and it's been a long time... but it depends on which force you're playing on, as far as the cheerful factor goes. but if wei has to be defeated, then you couldn't play as Wei here, could you?
yea its like tsao i know because i know Chinese but it's hard to pronounce if u don't learn chinese. At least it's better than "cao" which sounds like "cow" lol.
"Pathetic! I can see right through their plan!"
*a few minutes later*
"They outsmarted me!"
I used to turn on my PS2 in the morning just to play this song before I go to school and on the weekend. Good times.
A classic song from a classic game, in a classic franchise.
Lu Bu + this music = You're gonna have a good time
This, for me was the song that (and still does) personify Dynasty Warriors.
When you hear this song in game it just sounds so right!
DW5 Cao Pi will always be the best version of Cao Pi
Except for the fact that in 5 he refers to himself as "Cow Pee"
... But you could see that as a plus.

Many many late nights fueled by mountain dew, hot cheetos, and 10 year old hyperness playing the shit out of this game
The extra guitar layers and bass is just great

this game contains so many epic songs.. amazing
this song makes me feel energetic, specially when i felt tired :)
the best part is da beginning!!
Who else always reads the title as "dual RNG" and then wonders for a moment why a DW song is named after FE's hitrate mechanics?
Impressive, that was the first song that i heard in-battle in Dinasty Warrior 5.
My friend was playing with me on split screen.
*-*
childhood
Back in the days I found this BGM slow and boring while playing DW5E, boy how my taste of music have change now
LMAO true

My favorite game dynasty warrior 5 is making me cry after this song
Lu Bu might be the strongest warrior in China, but not the best leader. The best could be Cao Cao.
Well is that opinion, or do you think from the sheer might he had through every installment?
Xiang Yu crushes Lu Bu in every aspect as a candidate for the strongest warrior in China
The best leader was definitely Cao Cao by far. Had Sun Ce not died so young he would’ve rivaled Cao Cao. The two of them shared many of the same qualities and are often compared.

"who are you I won't forgive such rude words"

"So you can't forgive me well... that is more of your problem than it is mine."

4 years ago my uncle said ''I'm gonna marry Just because I want to play dw with my boi ^^ ''

Nah he was playing DW online like real role-player then game shutted down .

Yes dual nrg my faforite
@xXxDrackanxXx han dang too! check how many battles he's been in
@BlueWorrior It reminds me of Firestorm Citadel (In some way) and also does remind me of He Fei
I think Dual means the 2 electric guitars playing at the same time. It's great though, like at 0:48, you can hear the 2 guitars
