Hi- thanks for the explanation. I am new to higher end watches and still very much a novice. Is it harmful to a watch if you leave the chronograph hand running constantly? Any insight is appreciated as I don't want to ruin my big boy watch.
I saw them but they are a quite bit different from this one in the video thanks tho I will see what other watches I will order from there I already ordered about 10 from there.
the chronometer on my armani doesnt seem to be calibrated the second hand touches 12 but the minute hand is a minute or so above 60/0 what should i do?
This explanation is wrong. It's not for standing start, it's for constant speed. The lowest speed it can measure is 60, because if you travel a mile in 60 seconds, your speed is 60mph. If your car accelerates, you will get the average speed, not your trap speed.
What he says is true but .... There is a fuller explanation here : ruclips.net/video/fMncXiA-AuE/видео.html I'm not trying to be mean as this is a good explanation but you can measure much more than just time in mph as the other video explains. A tachymeter is a very useful little gauge with a lot of uses and hope that this will also help your understanding as it did mine

Thanks for the very clear explanation.
Best simple explanation, thanks!
Best explanation on RUclips.
My watch has this but it has this rotating ring on the edge, where should it start at?
so what would you do if you were measuring an object going, say, 3 miles? Multiply the reading on the tachymeter by 3?

Are you certain that the rotating ring has a tachymeter scale? A tachymeter scale should be fixed, always, and not be able to be moved.
Quick and concise, Thank you so much!
Hey buddy I can't find thay swiss legend watch in the Web site any help I want it.
pavy415 Look up "Sprint Racer" on worldofwatches.com

So how would you use a bezel tachymeter if the chronograph second hand is on a subdial? Is the tachymeter just stylistic then.
Quinn Calvert I haven't seen a chronograph on a subdial with a tachymeter
does the second hand not move unless you use that
the chronometer on my armani doesnt seem to be calibrated
the second hand touches 12 but the minute hand is a minute or so above 60/0
what should i do?
Which model did you demonstrate this on?
Clear, concise explanation. You should do knife reviews (*_*)
Thank you!
Are'nt you that knife guy? ;)
