Garageband on a Mac for the time being. I'm not very technically minded, so I can't really advise much. Maybe use a mustang/jaguar type guitar and use a Boss DS-1. Also, not changing the strings very often gives it a rougher sound. (If anyone else has anything to add, please feel free to comment!!)
The Block I have never used garage band. could you do a video on the set up/ settings or talk me through? love all the vids btw and you get the sound bang on and really want the same. I have a fender jaguar and fender Mustang
I wasn't planning on ever doing any video tutorial or anything, but it's something to think about. I might put some general info on my about page. There are a few dedicated Nirvana guitar pages on RUclips that could probably give you better advise though. I usually just play it by ear in terms of getting the sound. Thanks btw!
Thanks. I remember hearing One Step Closer for the first time and being quite blown away by how different they were and he was an amazing vocalist. I think it's better if the tribute covers come from the true fans though, as I know there are many. RIP Chez
