Omg those are gorgeous
Now what do you do with the scraps of the scraps? 🤣
Thank you so much!! 🤍
Hahaha good question! I always save my small scraps in a bag over a few weeks and then give them to recycling. Some clothes shops take them in to make more fabric out of them again :)
Some people put them in pillows or ragdoll toys
@@suides4810 that's a great idea!
Stuffed animal filling.
in the Netherlands they have collection bins for clothing and fabric (and clean shoes I think?). They donate all the still usable pieces and use the other things for things like chair stuffing
Patch work wear are trendy now. Cute & stylish. Great work.
Thank you so much 🩵
Would be a good blanket
Thats a super good point actually!
Working on a similar project for a top with colorful squares🥰🥰
Sounds amazing 😍❤️ I'd love to see your result!
Nice! #fire!
Oh that’s a great idea! I am so doing that! I have some flannel scraps from pajamas I made for three people at Christmas time. I was wondering what to do with them. New pajama bottoms here I come! Thanks so much 🦋
They're gonna look so cute 😭🩷
The idea of just making a new pattern fabric from scraps can go such a long way!! Very nice
Absolutely! 💙
I also work in patchwork fabric
Super cute! Those came out so fly!
Thank you so much 😍
Aww cute! A question why do you cut them into triangles?
Because the scraps were not big enough for the full square :) so instead I cut half of it and then patched those together into squares as well
These look AWESOME ❤
Thank you so much! :) 🩷
This is absolutely Amazing.

I love the result but ngl when people say "scraps" and when i say scraps we dont mean the same XD
I would never have enough material, as most of my scraps are like 30x50cm pieces. But if i wanted a real colourful mixmatch pair i now know what to do!
30x50cm is a great piece of scrap though! :D what are you making that these are the scraps you end up with? 🥰
Love that idea!
Thank you! 😍
They look AMAZE!! 🤯❤️
thank you so much ❤!!
Love them ! ❤I’m going to try this. Thanks for the idea 💡

Love the result! I'm saving all my scraps but upcycling them in such a nice way looks so hard and time consuming, I wonder if I'll ever get anything out of them lol

You could collect a ton of scraps and make an ottoman. You use the scraps for the cushion inside and the fabric on the outside😊
I actually have seen Kiana Bonollo do that recently and loved it!! Maybe when I have my own place :)
@@recreatefulchannel yes!! That’s exactly who I saw do it and it turned out so good

I just overlooked them together, they are not perfect by any means though 😂

Do you have to sew a straight stitch line next to your serger seam to make sure the seam is durable and not unraveled? Why when I use serger, the threads seem to get loose and I have to secure them with a straight stitch line
Its generally not a bad idea and for extra durability I'd keep doing that! What it also could be however is that the tension on the machine is too low which is why the thread is too loose. Make sure to feed the oveelocker thread back in on itself and not just cut it off as well as that can cause unravelling too
@@recreatefulchannel hi, thank you for getting back to me! I love learning more about sewing, I took 2 years of fashion design back in high school but I stopped sewing for years and forgot mostly everything, lol. I would love to start sewing again.
I saw some people making clothes with just serger alone without using a sewing machine and keep wondering if that’s even possible and if the clothes stay nice after a wash.
And when you say feed it back in, does that mean when we get to the end, we need to keep running the serger till it reaches the start point?
@@hadang9679 no problem at all :) I use only a serger for some of my makes and it has worked well :) I think it depends!
with feeding it back I mean to run the serger a little longer than the seam you are sewing and then using a needles to feed that last bit of thread through itself so that the seam does not come loos, cause you can't backstitch on a serger
so for this project, when you attach the small fabrics together into a big fabric and then cut the pants patterns from it. Did the threads get loose or still attached after you cut the pattern? Did you only use the serger when you made these pants?
Woow brilliant 💡💡idea, can tell me what is your sewing machine, thank you🙏🌹❤
Thank you! The Maschine I used in this video is Gritzner 788 :) 🩷
@@recreatefulchannel thank you my dear ❤❤
@@relaxationmeditationarea2610 of course ❤❤
Woooow. How do you clean seams on the wrongs sides?
How to make them line up you mean? These seams are not perfect by any means 😅
@@recreatefulchannel i mean how do you end the seams. Do you serger it?
Heyy, i wanted to make something for someone special and i wanted to know (since I know a little bit of sewing/crocheting and stuff) what's easier? Crochet or sawing?
Hi :) unfortunately I only know how to sew so can't really judge! Crocheting can easily be done lying down in bed which is cool, but sewing is usually quite quick since you are not creating the materials :D both will be great though :)
@@recreatefulchannel thank you so muchh!! ❤️❤️
ik I'm super late on this, but I do both, and in my opinion it's easier to master crochet, but basic sowing will get you further significantly faster and is typically more versatile

Just the normal overlocking stitch :)

@@recreatefulchannel Uorfi is a "respectable"' lady from India who has a weird fashion sense (she literally makes dresses with black garbage bags).
