For better decal results use a colour laser printer, bubble jet does not give the correct colour and depth. You will have better resolution results if you use Adobe illustrator. Photoshop is pixel based where as illustrator is vector based and can be scaled up or down with no problems.
A realy nice customrestoration. The emergency car looks awesome. A little decalsoftener over the decals would have helped to set it properly into the panellines of the doors. I think an "Emergeny" decal on the fronthood would look a bit better..
Hi Danny... excellent work as usual. This was one heck of a strip job to begin with and props to you for getting the windows out without so much as a crack!!! Keep up the great work!
Top job Danny! I didn't have one of these as a kid but I did know some kids who did, they generally had pretty hard lives outside in the dirt so it's great to see a survivor get restored.
Nice work getting the windscreen out & excellent cleanup. Interesting closeup camera work. Lovely paint & clear coat. Cool photoshop action with nice decals. Perfect wheels. I liked the end music and scene. Excellent video.
Great work. What a mess that model was. Great save on the window unit. About the only suggestion I would make is paint the headlight surrounds black. The grill was black and around the headlights, and the large amber indicator lights give it the unmistakable look of a Rangie.
Looks great, once again. You should really do the classic white and blue UN livery on one of these. When it was all primer white, I cold almost picture it. It would be so appropriate and nostalgic too!
Never had this one in particular, but it does remind me of a Matchbox I had that was a G-Wagen like... Snow rescue vehicle? Really cool casting. Would love to do some of these myself some day when I've got the space and money for it.
Awesome restoration, superb job. Love your videos, very informative and inspiring. I will be restoring some of my own car collection as soon as I get my workshop up and ready. 👍
this casting, seems to be based on it's bigger brother the 'Vigilant' Range rover.i have 8 of them, two of which i've hacked off the rear roof part,to make a semi beach cruiser and a custom wagon.top resto by the way, that DID look fit for the bin,but 'magic-man' Danny restored it back to life.
Yeah seems to work the best of anything Ive tried, Rounded wood and hit the middle of the bends. Drumstick is handy cos it has smaller and larger rounded ends
Thanks danny for this restoration. I can remember having one of the larger models, and the back wheels used to operate a stop sign on the roof. Gees that was a long time ago 👍
Yes indeed you brought her back from the brink nice job. Two things though I would’ve liked to have seen a pin wash in all the cracks and crevices of the ambulance give it more depth and also to the wheels flush to the body it looks a bit on gangly with the wheel sticking outside the wheel wells. Other than that nice
Well my friend, no one can ever accuse you of taking the easy way out ! There was so much paint on that car that I think a lot of people would have thrown it away....a lot of people....not all people ! LOL
Why not throwing it into caustic soda altogether, which would help to soften things up, before trying to pry it out when it´s all dried up? Great job as always, Danny. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.
What an awesome transformation!
Fantastic restoration !
Amazing transformation great work
Love your work Danny.
Man, that is one big transformation!
Looks great 👍
Fantastic revival as usual! Great work!
Another brilliant restore!!!
Simply a beautiful restoration!
Wow, what a transformation! Excellent job buddy. Great choice on ditching those stock wheels. They're worse than superfast wheels. Lol
Yes agreed they are actually worse than the SF !
I can't believe you got all that pain t off. Truly amazed
Quite a change! Keep up the great work.
That looks great!
I had this as a police vehicle in the mid 70's. Great to see your restoration bringing another one back to life.
Wow!!!
Impressive makeover, you really turned that one around.
What a transformation! It was a disaster but now it is a jewel. Thanks for sharing this.

Wow, excellent job on this one, Danny.
Excellent stuff as usual. I had this model 40 years ago, it was my favourite . It came with 3 figures 1 on the stretcher and 2 carrying it .
Super Restoration, Tumbs up!!!
Excellent job Danny thanks for going the distance on this one especially.
Nice one Danny 👍

I do use microsol but if you note on this model there are no door lines on side stripe indents.
Wow, what a cool artwork. Its a really wonderfull little car.
Excellent work, I am amazed at how well the vehicle turn out. You are a very talented person.
Hi Danny... excellent work as usual. This was one heck of a strip job to begin with and props to you for getting the windows out without so much as a crack!!! Keep up the great work!
The White Walled tire’s complimented it!

Surely the paint you stripped of that one is an artwork on itself! Nice work Danny :)
This car was realy a disaster. You had made a awesome job. It looks great. And you had printed your own decals. Respect. Simply awesome.
Great job with the Range Rover Emergency vehicle .l can see it racing to a Emergency call .
Turned out really nice after so much work. Enjoy your weekend.
Great work. What a mess that model was. Great save on the window unit. About the only suggestion I would make is paint the headlight surrounds black. The grill was black and around the headlights, and the large amber indicator lights give it the unmistakable look of a Rangie.
That is a huge transformation well done mate 🔥🔥🔥

that much paint is a good thing ,, I just throw them in a Dettol bath for a few days and the paint drops off without damaging anything

Wow....so beautiful restaoration, i love your chanel, and your videos are so relaxing.
Black paint on the wind screen / wind shield ( as we refer to it) was the cheap version of a tinted glass
Looks good 👍
Well done Danny what a restoration great finish and paint job.
Ps have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year ☃️👍
wow
🚑 Noice! 👌🏼 Cool wheels too 👌😩
Thanks for the video Danny 👍🏼 Looking forward to the next one.
Very cool. I watch a few channels where they modify real cars and it would be cool if they were inspired by your design 🔥
You did an amazing job 👏
Muy buen trabajo, felicitaciones!! 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
Why not throwing it into caustic soda altogether, which would help to soften things up, before trying to pry it out when it´s all dried up? Great job as always, Danny. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.
Watching the ads for my mate Danny 😎😎😎
I think so too.
No black around the headlights and boot window?
Love it
Thanks
Wouldn't the paint stripper have loosened the windscreen? Or would it have damaged it?
The polystripper melts the plastic. I could have soaked it in caustic is guess.
