This was just so wholesome and delightful I can't even stand it. You two have such a fantastic dynamic together I hope we see more collabs in the future!
We have finally reached the point where 3D printers are a tool and not a hobby and they "just work" without tinkering for the most part. We have come a long way since the cupcake and blue tape days.
OMG its Peachy! You're in good hands with Joel helping you get set up. Also, I totally didn't see you steal all the chips and soda from the LTX green room.
I always love to see people getting the ability to 3d print stuff, I've had a few printers over the years but never really used them because they were never reliable. Late last year I grabbed a P1S and have been super satisfied with it, I even printed a pretty big Winter Soldier arm for a cosplay my friend is doing, after painting it looks amazing and is way more rigid than foam would've been.
Oh man . . . I recently got hooked to the 3D print idea . . . must be something in the air. Anyway . . . still learning. And also found out about the Bamboo 3D printer company. Thank you for this video Sara and Joel. Definitely give me courage to move along. Have not purchased the unit yet. So I got no experiences whatsoever in 3D. I saw raptor spaceX 3D printable that I was so inspired to print . . . cannot wait.
Very Good Video. I love seeing New 3D makers slowly get the whole joy of it and the world of opportunities that opens up to them. Print by print. I see a CAT in a HAT very soon.
I have to say, the interaction between Sara Dietschy and Joel Telling was very entertaining. once Sara gets more into 3d printing and modifying, a follow up episode, showing her progress might be a great idea.
I recommend using Gridfinity as a base for all these organizational prints that are horizontal. For vertical organization I recommend Multiboard. there are also shelves for Multiboard that can hold Gridifnity items. Thanks for the video!
Yeah Dietschy Peachy! It was definitely time for her to get her first 3D printer. Especially since she has been making technology videos for a while now.
First printer a bamboo carbon with the ams…..sigh. I would love to have one of those. Or at least a pallet pro. Also, do you have a link to that print and is there a micro as card version? That thing was pretty cool.
Haha this is cool, from Peachy to Genius Bar to 3DPN, she’s hitting all my fav channels. How fitting it would essentially be the apple equivalent of 3D printers as her choice.
I think we've found the next fidget spinner for people with a lot of SD cards. If there's not already a smaller size for the micro-SD cards, there needs to be for us RPi users.
I wonder if there's something like that for Switch Cartridges 🤔 I didn't find anything like it when I was looking, butt maybe I just mist it 🤷🏿♀ Still, no reason I couldn't remake it regardless (not that it'd likely be postable, but at least I'd have it :p)
So cool! I can't wait to get my printer!!!! (It's no X1 carbon..) but it's gonna be my little ender! 😂 I can't wait to bring it to life and give it a name!
Er, I think Sara was asking about the origin of the technology. (SO I'mma be that fool to respond). The inventor wanted to create a toy octopus for his daughter back in the early 90s and realized that if he attached a plastic extruder (like a glue gun) to a CNC machine, he could draw 3 dimensional object in layers of what ever plastic he could extrude, one on top of another. And now we're here.
Was so great meeting you IRL!!! Excited to be a part of this world 🤝
That is really cool... See I knew her from Twitter already! Welcome to 3D printing and enjoy the ride!
This was just so wholesome and delightful I can't even stand it. You two have such a fantastic dynamic together I hope we see more collabs in the future!
Now that is a collab I did not see coming, such a pleasant surprise. My two favorite worlds: crafting & tech.

One of the most unexpected collaborations, amazing.
This is so cool. I love Sara. Great video introducing her to 3D printing.
Welcome to the 3d priting world Sara. You have the power to do anything (almost). Enjoy
Fantastic content. I like how the wheels were already turning with possible designs

Thanks for watching and I’m excited for the day you get your first 3d printer!
Heck yeah now this is an awesome creator collab!

Very well done Joel, even mentioning about the licenses!
Hey Joel, used your free pass yesterday and spent the day at Rapid + TCT in LA. Absolutely loved it, my head is still spinning. Thanx again....
Would be too much fun to see a triple collab with Joel, Sara and NPH.

This Collab was much needed! Glas to see this!

Thanks for the video!
Gotta love that first experience with a 3D printer
Love it! Welcome to the world of 3D printing, Sara! It's a fun rabbit hole to dive into.
Sara's enthusiasm and energy is contagious 😊. Congrats on the first 3D printer! Print all the things!
Joel, you're such a modest pro, it's great.
Yeah Dietschy Peachy!
It was definitely time for her to get her first 3D printer. Especially since she has been making technology videos for a while now.
@7:30 and now she has her first 3D scrap that will hang around in a box for 5 years until she gets into diy filament.
Super cool collab! Loved this video, thank you!
I love these collab videos, Joel. Always a good time!
Love the content
Welcome Sara!
Sara Dietschy, rhymed with peachy. Now also rhymes with PET-G.
When you see the word "peachy" and 3d printing and feel a wave of relief that you didn't get around to backing THAT kick starter

You know, Sarah.... there may or may not be 3D models of cat armor available on the Internet. I am sure your cat would *love* a set of that. 😅

I thought this was a throwback to "Peachy Printers". XD
Remixing is not only often allowed but it's encouraged and an integral part of the 3d printing culture. Remix all the things!

Big fan of Sara ❤ so cool you got to experience this and help one more person into the community 🫡
So cool! I can't wait to get my printer!!!! (It's no X1 carbon..) but it's gonna be my little ender! 😂 I can't wait to bring it to life and give it a name!
god damn it! I got scared when she opened the knife! :)
i just got my p1s, i haven't updated since my CR10S
1:10 armour!!
I just got a scanner and will be making armour for mine!!
MY WORLDS COLLIDE
"I don't see myself making my own models". Well just you wait!
Welcome to 3d printing
Who was the lady you gave a 3d printer to a few years ago? Was she still printing?
Er, I think Sara was asking about the origin of the technology. (SO I'mma be that fool to respond).
The inventor wanted to create a toy octopus for his daughter back in the early 90s and realized that if he attached a plastic extruder (like a glue gun) to a CNC machine, he could draw 3 dimensional object in layers of what ever plastic he could extrude, one on top of another. And now we're here.
PETG FTW
Who is this? Everyone seems to know her, I've never heard of her.
Kool, veruh kool.
The cat needs armor!
Just started the video, if this isnt gridfinity ill riot
She learned in this and in her video, I don’t want to ruin it, but you’ll be happy
@@3DPrintingNerd hahaha I saw, I will withhold the rioting this time 😂😂😂
miss peachy and the full joel!
Wishing you nice success and to be well from Will and Mr Data:):]
this reminds me of an ltt video
shock.. its a bambu. I would not have recommended any other printer for someone new.
W video
who?
That's exactly what I was thinking XD and then I see Mark Fuckerberg 🤢
who
Bambu Lab made 3d printing accessible to everyone. Even a couple years after release and no other printer comes close.
Nobody cares
Put it in the hole until it takes it. 😂😂😂
Dafuq lol
@@krollmond7544 I'm just quoting the video LMAO
Uuugh
Who the hell is Sara Dietschy?
oh for fucks sake, why did you give her the X1 Carbon? The A1 would have been fully sufficent.
Is a bambu but still a good video
Bambus are great printers!
swiss ancestry, judging by the name?
Cool content, have been following you for so long
