I hand pollinated a sarracenia in July and it looks swollen but still is green and it’s November. How long does it usually take to turn brown and crack open? You guys are awesome and tell the Godfather I said hi.

It can take a while; we are still harvesting seeds from plants pollinated in spring!

Mine is also still green. Im not sure in what month I should cut it off and collect the seeds. Does it need to be brown?

If you search for glassine or small wax paper bags on Amazon you should be able to find a bunch of different sizes! We get ours from a commercial supplier
