It isn’t a chore, packing it’s an intellectual exercise game … like doing a crossword with head-scratching shapes. I have to find the right box from a pile, which Veronica, a darling dog walker finds on dog walks before rubbish pickups. Then, hmm, what configuration … as I flip and flop inside and out of disparate objects.
