Bipolar is a mood disorder. It means two moods. We are NOT a split personality, contrary to popular belief, our moods do not flip like a light switch. We have periods of wellness, periods of mania and periiods of depression.
@@rosieglows Our moods do "flip like a switch" when you are someone that experiences rapid cycling. Bipolar effects those of us who have it differently. Some have one episode a year, others have them much, much more frequently.

i respect demi so much, even if she fell down a million times she never stayed there and got back up and fought back with her depression and other issues, i am so inspired by this woman !
vab she’s a warrior. And she’s out and open talking about it to inspire us to love and accept ourselves as we are. I used to not pay much attention to her ... but now... I’ve so much respect and empathy towards her
When I saw her put her hand on the person on the ambulance bed I immediately got emotional. How fucking beautiful and what a way to acknowledge your past trauma and forgive yourself for it. She is truly finding herself. And the acting in the fight scene?? She’s definitely a 10/10 in my book.
This song gave me a sense of self-love and I am eternally grateful Demi. I still listen to it and will always listen to it, it's a true masterpiece. I just love that this song is about self-love and self-worth. It encourages you to love yourself and be yourself, not what others want you to be, and I like that. This song is completely relatable in so many ways, but also personal for expressing Demi’s whole life while she is moving on to a better self and company, so proud of you Demi!
The part she touches the person on the stretcher... was that supposed to be her acknowledging her overdose and trying to move forward? Also the three guys were supposed to be the Jonas brothers and them going there separate ways. Also she references us to her confident era. wooowwww , a lot of references that i wasn't paying attencion , now i love more this song.
I have to listen to this song everyday. It has a most positive upbeat to it and when I'm at work I actually feel like I'm worth something just like Demi. Depression/anxiety can kiss my ***
When she touched that girl on the stretcher I had shivers. She’s comforting her, as if saying “everything is gonna be alright”, but at the same time she’s saying goodbye to her. The new Demi is wiser, stronger, more aware of her feelings and her surroundings. I’m so proud of you, Demi. Look how fare you’ve come! Great things are waiting for you, and it all begins when you start accepting and loving yourself.
This part was heartbreaking and at the same time a revival moment for me to see. I can't imagine how bad everything could be for her when she went to the hospital.
I understand Demi Lovato. I put myself down & I second guess, I get so confused, I'm a big girl & my angel is butting heads with the negative. So I know how you feel Demi your song makes me feel 10 out of 10 when I forget
*2017: Tell Me You Love Me* *2020: I Love Me* *This is a glow up a lot of people needed. People tend to give an abundance of love to other people instead of investing it in themselves. You feel like you need a relationship in your life because you’re not comfortable in your own solitude. What you fail to realize that at the end of the day all you need and all you have is yourself. You have to LOVE YOURSELF first before you can love anyone else.*
"Guilty about everything that I eat", beating the dark side of herself, "I'm a 10/10 even when I forget", the ambulance. DAMN this song has a lot of meaning behind it.

I really love the part "I'm my own worst critic, talk a whole lot of sh*t but I'm a ten out of ten even when I forget it" damn that lyrics are so empowering and meaningful woah
I love how she included bits from her old music, old roles, and from her life that shows what she’s gone through and now where she’s wanting to get to and love herself for who she is. This is why I love Demi!
I am so sad that we didn't make this song go viral just because I felt like if we did this would be so relatable to so many people, so I feel like we didn't give Demi enough credit for this song😭
So many life references... 1. The gay couple kissing: her being bisexual 2. The two little girls: Her and her little sister as children 4. The band playing music on the sidewalk: Camp rock 5: That group of men and that lady in the middle, all dressed in black: (I think) a reference to her Confident mv and that era 4. That group of three guys walking on the sidewalk, in the suits: That period of her life with the Jonas Brothers 5: (And the one that always makes me cry) The person being rolled into the ambulance: When she almost over dosed and almost died 6: The newly weds running down the street: Her ex boyfriend and his new wife She has been through all this shit and yet she is still here, living her life to the fullest and encouraging all of us to do the same no matter how fucked up we are. She is truly a blessing, seriously.❤️
a few you missed (I'm guessing these): 0:59 When she got really really depressed from all the bullies early in life, but got out of her depression and was able to face life. Also could be a reference when she punched the backup dancer (or maybe it's not there on purpose, but still referenced, because it's not supposed to be in the middle between herself and herself and maybe she just doesn't want to get her into problems - like 'no hard feelings'). Well at least she won. 1:45 the construction patchwork in the back - you can tell it held back some violence from the real world, but the real world can see and is aware of some of it, but it's pretty hidden and she has her back to it - like hiding it from her future success. Quite some foreshadowing there. 1:23 there are some free birds in the real world living life productively and she finally survived the boxing match, only focusing on the bad stuff and getting away from it to finally see that, yay! This is probably what she wants to see and be a part of - can't blame her for wanting some blue skies 1:24 the gatekeeper/bouncer - is paying attention, but is distracted and so she got to slide past them, but understands she could slip up and face them any second. 1:25 everyday people 1:26 the newspaper looks like it's being given to the person next to them - shows how quickly things spread via word-of-mouth. Secretive gossip in plain sight! 1:39 her parents bringing her around to auditions #1 just some innocent love that she thought people wanted and were ok with and she thought it was awesome but realizes how ridiculous now when she thinks about it
God, there are so many details in this music video that I never noticed when I first watched it... It's hard not to get emotional and teary-eyed while watching it. This music video will always be one of Demi's best music videos ever for me. Every time I watch it, I learn that the music video is such a finely handled masterpiece, it really is a great work with every detail carefully crafted. This music video just says and contains so much. Every detail really brought tears to my eyes. And Demi Lovato, you're a living legend. I'm super proud of you. ❤
Love the reference to her “tell me you love me” music video at 3:07. Especially because during that part she’s in the middle of singing “I wonder when I love me is enough”. it really shows the progression of not just her music but her inner conflict of her own self love being enough for her. I’m glad we have such a real artist as Demi because she really is honest about her mental health and the struggles she faces on a daily basis.
How do you know? I bet she hasn't....and that's ok. If it's about loving yourself....you take you as you are...demons and all. That's when I love me is enough. When you can accept that.
The demons are always there. You work to suppress them. You learn how to support and accept support. Our brains are wired differently. We've somehow learned to love things that are horrible for us and you can get farther from that, but it's never ending work. -2 years clean
I literraly forgot this song existed... it deserved better. Demi Lovato goes in soo hard on this right here! Only reason she is getting more hits is cuz she is just watching that short on my channel explaining how all these artists out here be blowing up so big
Nope,, when she looks at the married couple it means Wilmer and her fiancé. It’s a blonde girl and a Latin guy. Plus the Jonas brothers are also represented (the 3 guys walking by wearing a gold/black tuxedo.
*Demi is back, better than ever. She has learned to love herself and actually focus on the positive instead of the negative comments and I am so here for her.*
Fun fact pointing stuff out in the name of empowerment only goes against the cause Yes women are powerful But powerful people dont talk about their power They show it.
when she passed by herself on the stretcher i almost started crying. she's such a warrior and inspiration to so many of us dealing with mental illness and i wish her nothing but the best. ❤
Toda vez que eu assisti esse clipe é um misto de emoções, principalmente do medo que eu senti quando ela teve overdose, até hoje eu lembro como foi ouvir a noticia no jornal. Ainda bem que nossa Demi é uma nova mulher.
I catch a lot of references and in my opinion although they're no longer talking like they used to, she's still grateful that those people and the incidents on her journey made her who she is today. Judging by her face, she doesn't sending hate, instead this might be a "thank you" to all the lesson and that she decides to loving herself from now on. Bravo, I love you, always.
Celeste Williams I too, feel the strong energy of “I love you, I will always love you. But I gotta let you go”. SIS IS CRAZY I STAN HER EVER THAN BEFORE 😭😭😭
It doesn’t matter how many times someone falls. What matters is how many times you pick yourself back up. Demi picked their damn self up and I’m here for it 💁🏻♀️
"Cause I'm a black belt when I'm beating up on myself but I'm an expert at giving love to somebody else" (just a little correction but honestly so true haha)
She is literally showed her Disney self to confident self. The positivity and emotion jumped out and the way she sang her soul out. Funny that her voice is higher than my grades
TBH, it wasn't about Disney or anything, it was about her emotional, mental and physical health. She never really gave up on Disney and neither did they, they continue to work together from time to time (after Sonny with a Chance, she did music for their movies like Frozen and a Wrinkle in Time).
she is literally talking about vulnerability and how she fights with that. therefore, never was easy and it’ll never be. it’s pretty sad but it’s about our feelings. so glad for u, demi. always moving on 🧡

This song was released in 2020 . . but hell I could have used this song 10 years ago and still related to this when I was 18. This is one of those songs I think will never truly age. Cause it is just so relatable. I am gonna be 28 tomorrow.
When she touched the person in the stretcher...that was so powerful. Her current self telling her past one to keep fighting, to have the strength to heal and come back stronger than ever. I think so many of us who have overcome depression, eating disorders and such would like to tell their younger selves to not give up and to hold on.
**Selena Gomez : I needed to lose you to love me!** **Halsey : I'm still learning to love myself** **Demi Lovato : I wonder when i love me is enough** **All these queens giving us self love vibes is amazing!🌼**

When I saw her put her hand on the person on the ambulance bed I immediately got emotional. How fucking beautiful and what a way to acknowledge your past trauma and forgive yourself for it. She is truly finding herself. And the acting in the fight scene?? She’s definitely a 10/10 in my book.

Thank you for being an inspiration, you are an angel. ❤

The part she touches the person on the stretcher... was that supposed to be her acknowledging her overdose and trying to move forward? Also the three guys were supposed to be the Jonas brothers and them going there separate ways. Also she references us to her confident era. She showcases So many past things it’s so powerful and beautiful. Last one I’ll share is 1:56 when she takes us back to her camp rock days. Absolutely a fucking legend. 💕

2. The two little girls: Her and her little sister as children
4. The band playing music on the sidewalk: Camp rock
5: That group of men and that lady in the middle, all dressed in black: (I think) a reference to her Confident mv and that era

5: (And the one that always makes me cry) The person being rolled into the ambulance: When she almost over dosed and almost died
6: The newly weds running down the street: Her ex boyfriend and his new wife

a few you missed (I'm guessing these):
0:59 When she got really really depressed from all the bullies early in life, but got out of her depression and was able to face life.
This is probably what she wants to see and be a part of - can't blame her for wanting some blue skies
1:24 the gatekeeper/bouncer - is paying attention, but is distracted and so she got to slide past them, but understands she could slip up and face them any second.
1:25 everyday people
1:26 the newspaper looks like it's being given to the person next to them - shows how quickly things spread via word-of-mouth. Secretive gossip in plain sight!
1:39 her parents bringing her around to auditions
#1 just some innocent love that she thought people wanted and were ok with and she thought it was awesome but realizes how ridiculous now when she thinks about it

Rondawg Davis I think that was in reference to her ex getting engaged because his fiancée is blonde and the bride was blonde

She is literally showed her Disney self to confident self. The positivity and emotion jumped out and the way she sang her soul out. Funny that her voice is higher than my grades
Freni Ballena This hit home😂💔

TBH, it wasn't about Disney or anything, it was about her emotional, mental and physical health. She never really gave up on Disney and neither did they, they continue to work together from time to time (after Sonny with a Chance, she did music for their movies like Frozen and a Wrinkle in Time).

she is literally talking about vulnerability and how she fights with that. therefore, never was easy and it’ll never be. it’s pretty sad but it’s about our feelings. so glad for u, demi. always moving on 🧡
She came and told you
Nice
@@shreyarhode it's called common sense
So what?
Have you watched any of Brenè Brown’s videos? Mentioning vulnerability like that made me think of her work..
it's so amazing to see the artists being real and showing their "human" side. i'm so proud of this woman and I'll aways be at her side. i'm w her since 2012, feels so good to see my baby getting better each day. proud of u demi. love u

ikr.
I'm with her since watching Simply Complicated. I really didn't know much about her and liked her so I wanted to learn. I'm a die-hard fan now! I LOVE YOU DEMI. I'M MAKING MY WISH COME TRUE. TO MEET YOU WHEN YOU BECOME 30 YEARS OLD.
I was hoping someone would talk about this. Absolutely crying ngl.
This song is a whole therapy session
This dog is cute 😍

ALE Vi HA this song is just what people in this day and age need
For realll
**Selena Gomez : I needed to lose you to love me!**
**Halsey : I'm still learning to love myself**
**Demi Lovato : I wonder when i love me is enough**
**All these queens giving us self love vibes is amazing!🌼**
This needs more air time. Glad I put it on my play list. My life story.
Such a powerful song that people can relate to. “I’m guilty ‘bout everything I eat (everyday)”
Agreed!!! 👏🏼
Powerful

Currently lol
@@jonathonrorabeck "You won't feel guilty unless you're eating poorly." That's so ignorant to say.
LeaAnne94 it’s not something that can be controlled
She's the only mainstream artist so far that's been so open about struggling with self-image. No matter what others say about her, I will support this girl's music. She speaks for all the women out there who are going through the same thing.
Taylor Swift definitely did it too lmao - she talked about having an eating disorder in her docu
Florence Welch has also talked about her experiences with substance abuse and disordered eating.
She's not the only one
edgt 01 Not to go again your comment in anyway. You are right, but almost everyone deals with self-image.
What about Selena Gomez???
She's not only accepting her past, but also acknowledging everything that happened to her. Now she's ready to move on.❤
She aint moved on. Shes still a drug addict
@@user-nh1og5hy1u sure troll. Cuz she's definitely not been sober for months
@@user-nh1og5hy1u Unfortunately, addiction is a lifelong struggle and it's no joke, so don't be a dick about it. If you don't like her, why the hell are you watching her videos? I guess you're a fan then.
Ya her publicist says she doesnt do drugs anymore so it must be true
If you guys actually cared about her you wouldnt have viewed this video. You all just supported her financially so she has more drug money. You guys literally helped her buy more drugs
Happy 2 years to I Love Me!!!
When she touched herself going in the ambulance on the stretcher i instantly cried. Holy shit Demi. This is amazing. The song. The video. Everything.
yeah me too, that shit gave me chills
Alyssa Mercier Same here, it broke my heart into a million pieces 😭😭😭😭
Yesss omg
