I agree with everything you said except for that she’s “overcome everything”. She has to remain vigilant and stay in treatment with whatever is going to help her, addiction doesn’t just go away like that. Hopefully she does have a good team around her now and she says and she’s close to her family and friends and she won’t let anyone convince her to do anything unhealthy anymore.

God, there are so many details in this music video that I never noticed when I first watched it... It's hard not to get emotional and teary-eyed while watching it. I think so many of us who have overcome depression, eating disorders and such would like to tell their younger selves to not give up and to hold on.

TBH, it wasn't about Disney or anything, it was about her emotional, mental and physical health. She never really gave up on Disney and neither did they, they continue to work together from time to time (after Sonny with a Chance, she did music for their movies like Frozen and a Wrinkle in Time).
