Random stranger here. I've been watching the channel since the start of 2024 and I'm so fucking proud of you! With your injury and having never done a triathlon, I thought it'd get the best of you on race day. I remember checking your number on the Ironman site and seeing that at the time you were 10kms into the run. I genuinely couldn't believe it. I knew at that point you were going to be an Ironman. Obviously, you're not entirely stoked with how things went. Don't stress on your time, it's just an arbitrary number that can be improved with reps. I'm sure I speak for most of us in the comments when I say we'd just be stoked to cross the finish line. You're an absolute hero mate. I have so much respect for everything you've done on this journey ❤
This should be on Netflix!!! Absolute bingeworthy! Well done Brody mate, superb effort! By far one of the best, honest & detailed Ironman videos! Thank you and your team for putting the effort to document this. ❤
Got very emotive when look back the journey to see how far you've come bro. Just getting it done is a big deal and the final result is not important when you finished it, because every moment in this journey will be a treasure worth treasuing in life and you've got all of them! Looking forward to seeing your next journey and you will always have the support of everyone who loves you!
Well done Brody, you are an inspiration mate. Having hit the wall in a recent marathon the urge to quit when the only thing keeping you going is your mind is insane. What an emotional watch! Massive respect!
This was such an epic video!! I'm currently training for my first ever Ironman, and this video got me-without a doubt-through today's Zwift ride. You absolutely crushed it, and I'm so freaking proud of you!
Congrats Brody!!! I'm from Brazil, and it has been amazing to see your journey since the first episode. Its crazy to feel proud of a stranger hahaha but I really am. You inspired so many people, hope to see more from you here! Take care man!! And take care of Shawn also, the man did some physic effort haha
Looking forward to many more videos and following your progress. Sorry for the late reply on the video. I’ve been overseas for last 2 weeks but watched this as soon as I had access. All the best Dave!
A great video - amazing work! I just came back from a 70.3, and like you my stomach/nutrition went. I went to some pretty dark places on the run and I wish I had your positive mental attitude. Well done man!
Just incredible, just found your becoming an Ironman video and now I’m going to go back and watch from the start! Such an incredible achievement Brody congrats 🥳 so inspiring! Can’t wait to see what videos you do next 😅
A huge well done Brody! Followed your journey from the first episode and you've hit the mark on both the Ironman AND your vlogging. Surely there's more... Looking forward to what's next!
This is awesome Brody mate, congratulations! Gonna definitely spend a few months getting my nutrition right for mine. Looking forward to the ‘what’s next’ video!
Hahaha Shawn is amazing! Unfortunately, he also has filming work for his company and socials! If this channel ever got big enough I'd love to have him onboard every video haha
@@brodysearle in the meantime you should consider trying out IndieVelo racing to replace/supplement your Vo2max training on the bike 👌🏻 You’d probably really enjoy the competition and training stimulus you get from races 💪🏻🚴
Hard to Imagin Eating is one of the hardest parts of a Ironman to get right.. You can Train 30 hours a week but it will not madder a bit if the eating fails .=) .. first mistake is changing up what you eat too much .. I have done 2 full ironmans 11-13 hours so Hobby level stuff .. But I have never done more than 3-4 Geels The speed we go in the body can still absorb some normal food so stick to normal like High5 energy in the bottels when you bike and get some solid foods energy bars .. And also dont drink the Damm Seawater I have a huge suspicion that this is where your body said Feek you this is too mutch salt .=) .. I have to say this PLZ try again if you get the time .=) And Grats and welcome in the Ironman Club . =)
Enjoy this one on your long rides!! See you all Wednesday for what’s next!! ❤️
Weeks later I'm still super proud of somebody I didn't know of a year ago. Feels like falling into a void now it's over!
Thank you mate!!

100%, nutrition is the biggest factor here. I’m glad you have a few months to prepare this! Best of luck!
So happy to see this extended vlog! Will you continue vlogging? Any next big goals mate?
I’d love to learn from my mistakes and go again for sure. I think that’s the best way to do it!
Perfect motivation for my 8°c ocean swim.
Edit: obsessed with Sean, where has he been this whole time😊
Hahaha Shawn is amazing! Unfortunately, he also has filming work for his company and socials! If this channel ever got big enough I'd love to have him onboard every video haha

Did you switch watches btw? If I'm not mistaken I remember that you bought a 955 earlier in the series, but this looks like a Coros watch.
Coros Apex 2 Pro!
When is IM #2?
Busso! December
