Before coming out, you should establish a circle that accepts you for who you are. We are living in a harsh society, and it is difficult to find comfort especially if you know you are still looking for trusted friends. But don't get frustrated, life has many surprises, so enjoy life love yourself first.
As someone who has not come out I completely stand with Yoonghee's decision to protect himself. I'm glad he could get to a place that allowed him to come out and be a positive example in the community.

I'm so happy for YoongHee. I think the greatest fear before coming out is that the people who knew you 'before' will feel lied to, when it's never about that. Coming out is such a relief and I hope that he continues to feel supported and loved by all those around him. Unfortunately, it's often something that crops up again and again and you find yourself coming out to new people all the time. Even in a very western, accepting society I meet people who just assume I'm straight - and sometimes it's just easier to let them believe that.
Anyone that felt offended or betrayed by him saying that he is straight. I hope they become more open-minded and think from a perspective of understanding one another and not from a selfish and very "me" centered view. You learn so much more by trying to understand others instead of getting others to understand you.
Yeah some people aren't coming out and the things that can come out with that(no pun intended). I don't get how people can get mad at someone pretending to be straight when they're just not comfortable to come out as gay especially in a conservative environment.
To those who feel YoongHee lie or felt betrayed by him, he is simply doing what he needs to protect himself and he has all the right to do so, he had no bad or malicious intentions on anyone. We don’t need to tell those around us the truth about our sexuality when we are not ready because we don’t owe them anything, and no one can force us to do so, so I fully support YoongHee and YoungJae’s actions
The problem here is not feeling betrayed or gaybaiting. The problem is placing oneself on video that faces the public if one is afraid of adverse reactions. If one clearly understands a country's cultural beliefs, one must accept responsibility and be prepared for whatever response occurs. If one feels it is too risky to show who one really is, they shouldn't place themselves in the public eye. If one wants to break down barriers and be their authentic self, I applaud that act but it still does not change the reality of potential consequences. They must learn how to deal with them.
honestly, he doesnt have to ever "come out" to the public if he doesnt want to.....I will never understand why people believe you have to stand there and tell the whole world who you are attracted to.......anyway, love you both, keep up the good work!
It's a shock to me how people felt "betrayed"... he doesn't owe y'all anything so what's there to feel betrayed about? I personally was SOOOOOOOOO happy!!!, I was screaming at the top of my lungs when he appeared on His Man 2. I was so happy that he felt comfortable with himself and wanted to share it with others. Congratulations on coming out with the truth TK boy! 👏🏽🙌🏾 You have told your truth and that must be a huge relief off your shoulders. No one should have to label themselves - gay or straight does not matter. People should be able to date/marry whoever they want without anyone blinking an eye. I know this maybe wishful think right now but if we just treat it like this won't it just become the norm. I don' t think a person's sexuality defines them as special or should be treated any different. We are all human.
YoongHee made the right decision to not come out publicly before the military. He could have had to deal with a lot of bullying like his friend did. Thank you YJ for always supporting him, giving great advice, and listening to his concerns. You have been a great friend to him.
His reasoning is totally understandable. Only those who been to army knows how harsh life can be, we really don't need extra burden of being different.
It was for safety purposes, and besides we don't owe him anything anyway. One's sexuality isn't other people's business, and the world is just too harsh to people like us.
YOU HOLD THE RIGHT TO YOUR TRUTH. NOBODY, nobody can tell you what you choose to do about it. You can keep it to yourself or tell the whole world, they're still yours. We're just a mere audience in your movie. Be who you want to be because you can. Love you Yoong Hee❤
I completely understand Yoonghee's decision and he does not need to apologize. Everyone has their own reasons why to not come out and you should respect that - not that they are lying to you, but they are protecting themselves, until the right moment for people to know. Even for me, I decided to come out when I graduated from college and have a stable job (I knew I was gay when I was about 12 years old) to support myself (if I get disowned by my family). So now, I'm out to my parents and my friends and a few cousins of mine, and they all accepted me, but I did not come out to my entire family. Part of being LGBTQI+ - is not just being confident about coming out - but to decide where you belong and having that safe place to be yourself. USA is much more open to this community (depending on family and where you live) but other parts of the world is not - so I completely understand and accept Yoonghee's decision, again he doesn't need to apologize. XD
Coming out is very personal, you can't be angry at someone for not sharing this very personal information when they're not ready. Real life and people are much mean than one can imagine. I hope he doesn't face bullying for coming out and that people start minding their own business.
coming out is a decision that profoundly affects everything that you do. with the invasion of korea by american evangelicals, it's created a homophobic grip on korean society that is really sad to witness. i'm korean but was adopted by (white) american evangelicals so i understand the fears of coming out in such an environment. it terrified me when i did it--both the best and most difficult decision of my life. i came out in my early 20s and i'm about to turn 55 next month. i absolutely do not regret coming out and living my life as queer. i was really lucky to have had such a wonderful community of people because over time my adopted family rejected me--i got lots of conversations about "going to hell". disclosing personal information is ALWAYS an individual's right to choose. i am strongly against outing anyone--unless they are a person actively trying to harm a community through words or actions. in that instance they get every consequence that's coming to them. you end up "coming out" over and over again to the people in your life--and even now sometimes i get nervous if it comes up with people. i've been a queer activist my whole life so i don't know any other way of living. i work at a college in a very conservative state so i feel like it's important to be visible so that our students know they are not alone and feel they have support if they need it. we all need to strive for a world where everyone gets the love and respect they deserve. xoxo
He's even sexier to me that he's gay 😊 So I wasn't hallucinating when I thought its was him in Hisman2. Because I don't speak Korean, I wasn't sure. So happy you've gotten it out there and there's no betrayal. You have your right to come out when you want. Viewers shoukd watch the videos for entertainment. I'm 47 years old and still can't come out and that's tough. Love your videos
It's a personal choice whether he wants to come out or not. Whatever makes him happy. Everyone has their own reason. I'm gay, but I don't announce it in public.
I really get shocked I didn't know yoonghee are gay but I'm so happy that he came out i was so happy every time i see him with yj and always thought how cute they are together 😍
Here's the thing when he was on his Man 2 I didn't know that it was him both of them look alike but that didn't come to my mind so I fell for him again as tk boy and as the one in his man 2
After going back to his videos 😅well our TK boy had a few hints here and there. And personally I love him the same. Coming out in a conservative society is not easy.
Antigay bullying is no joke. And magnify by 10 in macho military culture, where your life is often in the hands of your mates. Even just in training. Zero judgement!
I had the same reaction with others, “I thought he was straight”, it was on my mind since then when I realized that it was YH on His Man 2, but I don`t know why I really got excited when it was YH, and I was really proud of him, I really had no clue that he was not straight, I was fooled by the video I have watche few years ago😭 Nevertheless, it was great to see that YH is finally happy and out, everyone deserves to be happy, “There are good people like us”, which is very true, even though there are people who hated you for who you are, there is somebody who loves you for who you are and respect you. Congratulations and be happy on your next journey, YH! And YJ, thank you for introducing YH to us, you`re so amazing, and I really love watching your videos! Saranghae, Youngjay and Yonghee!
That is very interesting to read the many comments saying they “felt” his was not saying the truth about his sexuality, and I never thought he was gay because he said so, is that “feeling” always trauma got from repression and bullying that many gays suffer or they conclude that by homophobic stereotypes? Because I’m bi and never “felt” someone was lgbt.
Like everyone else has said, do whatever feels comfortable and do what you want to do. We will love and support you and you will always be our TK boi no matter what.
I understand because Don't ask, don't tell was a thing in American until 2011 and there is probably still people who still hide even though Don't ask, don't tell is not a thing anymore in the military
actually when i watch the his man 2 show i didnt even knew that this guy is 'Tk boy'😂(cause im YJ Subscriber and watched taekwondo videos of YJ & YG) but when i get to know about him i was sosososos happpyyy actuallyyy😊😊😊 Younghee opppa dont worry those people said bad about u or questioned on u ignore them ❤❤❤we are there with u❤❤it must be hard for u to "COME OUT"but u did and im proud of u❤❤❤❤❤❤love youuuuuu alottt from your indian fan (me😊)
I was initially surprised, but I don't blame him at all cos I'm not openly out to everyone myself. Glad that he felt comfortable (and brave) enough to come out. That said, was waiting to see if he will uphold his word to date YJ but he is taken now. XD

The best thing to do is to live your life in your own way. I want the world to be like that. I wish you both a happy life 🙂
Yoonghee is bold and brave lovehim the most ❤❤
YoongHee made the right decision to not come out publicly before the military. He could have had to deal with a lot of bullying like his friend did. Thank you YJ for always supporting him, giving great advice, and listening to his concerns. You have been a great friend to him.
Lol i remember the day when everyone was shipping them 😂 and some of us were disappointed that yoonghee is straight but now look 😂 here we are❤
His reasoning is totally understandable. Only those who been to army knows how harsh life can be, we really don't need extra burden of being different.
5:45 'you were always gay. *a pure-blood gay* ' LOL, _pure-blood gay_ is a hilarious term. I love it!
Glad he is still on your vlog
It was for safety purposes, and besides we don't owe him anything anyway. One's sexuality isn't other people's business, and the world is just too harsh to people like us.
it is totally fine to come out whenever you are ready, there is no need to say sorry about it
YOU HOLD THE RIGHT TO YOUR TRUTH.
XD
YoongHee: "Yea. I always was."

WAIT!!! Did TK ever have a crush on Jay? I feel like he kinda had a crush but maybe I just like to daydream lol
Love Yoongheee his amazing🥰🥰🥰 so sweet and handsome ☺️
These 2 are possibly the funniest 🤣 loveable couple ( not meaning in sexual relationship) in Korea ❤. Thank You 🥰
I believe he was smart NOT coming out right before he went into the military.
I really get shocked I didn't know yoonghee are gay but I'm so happy that he came out i was so happy every time i see him with yj and always thought how cute they are together 😍
He participated in a gay dating reality show called "his man 2" to find a partner.
I like yoonghee and Js from the very start they have the bad boy qualities which I like.
Here's the thing when he was on his Man 2 I didn't know that it was him both of them look alike but that didn't come to my mind so I fell for him again as tk boy and as the one in his man 2
UNDERSTANDABLE
I thought he was straight, because everyone that my type is either straight or i can't get them 😂
After going back to his videos 😅well our TK boy had a few hints here and there. And personally I love him the same. Coming out in a conservative society is not easy.
Yoonghee ❤❤
Appologize accepted, YoongHee.
I don’t understand how we can be this far advanced in the world, yet so behind. I’m sorry he had to protect himself from harm in the army.
I understand because Don't ask, don't tell was a thing in American until 2011 and there is probably still people who still hide even though Don't ask, don't tell is not a thing
anymore in the military
I am shocked but also happy at the same time
Gay people knew he was gay. He only fooled the str8s 😂🤣. I’m glad he’s comfortable enough to come out on his own.
Wish he will be happy
actually when i watch the his man 2 show i didnt even knew that this guy is 'Tk boy'😂(cause im YJ Subscriber and watched taekwondo videos of YJ & YG) but when i get to know about him i was sosososos happpyyy actuallyyy😊😊😊
Younghee opppa dont worry those people said bad about u or questioned on u ignore them ❤❤❤we are there with u❤❤it must be hard for u to "COME OUT"but u did and im proud of u❤❤❤❤❤❤love youuuuuu alottt from your indian fan (me😊)
I was initially surprised, but I don't blame him at all cos I'm not openly out to everyone myself. Glad that he felt comfortable (and brave) enough to come out. That said, was waiting to see if he will uphold his word to date YJ but he is taken now. XD
