    Would love to know if your upright fridge makes a nice rattling sound as you drive along. Mine did and we couldn't stand it, ended up selling it to someone with a canopy that couldn't hear the sound. Took it back to Kings and they reckon they couldn't fault it but they never moved it from the bench so warranty claim went no where. Very frustrating since we loved the fridge in every other way.

    Would also love to know what you or if you did anything extra to the inside roof brackets to support the weight of everything as I know the rating is only meant to be 80kg on the roof, we all go over but just wondering if anything you done different or if running the stock inside brackets still

    Always enjoy a good build but I always cringe when people go slapping all this stuff on their roof. Being the Prado & Pajero are very similar I ask what the vehicles Roof Load Rating is on & Off Road? Not that of the roof rack system although depending how they are mounted it could be less still but the actually limit of the roof. I know my Pajero has a RLR of 100kg Dynamic which is driving on road and 70kg if leaving tarmac and heading on dirt roads. 57kg for the tent, 20kg for the awning, 10kg for the shower tent and 15 for the platform puts you over 100kg not to mention bedding and the proposed gas bottle.

      @@TheLukaszpg I had to pick between roof top tent and 270 free standing awning as it went way over on mine once you include the roof rack itself and both

      From what I googled they have a Roof Load Rsting of 100kg dynamic meaning driving paved roads and that should be reduced by 30% on Unsealed roads so Amy dirt road, beach etc. Same limits as the Pajero from what I've found so with all the stuff on it they are over their Dynamic limit and we'll over if they want to hit dirt roads.

      It’s amazing how many people are rolling around with way too much on the roof I was one of them people until I saw something on RUclips and quickly reduced what I had on my roof

    • @OnCountryWithMick
      @OnCountryWithMick 11 месяцев назад

      @lukebayet7812 agreed and that rack system could result in a very serious accident if it was to dislodge on the freeway after a bit of corrugated road travelling. I went looking ti find out my limits after watching Tyler Thompson's video where he lost his rack on K'Gari

    • @4wdsupacentreAu
      @4wdsupacentreAu  11 месяцев назад +2

      Unfortunately not in NSW - which is why Mitch said to check your states regulations!
      It only applies to seats that are designed to be removable (not second row seats!)
      Cheers,
      Cahn

  • @JordanGlennon

    great false advertsing, doesnt need to be mod plated if you leave the seat belts in flog

    • @4wdsupacentreAu
      @4wdsupacentreAu  11 месяцев назад +2

      What state are you in mate? NSW doesn’t have mod plates and if you remove seats you need to get it engineered if it changes the vehicle ADR category. So as Mitch said - check your state’s regulations as they’re all different.
      Cheers,
      Cahn

      Firstly, if that’s the case it would be false or mistaken information, not false advertising as that particular statement in the video was not advertising anything. Secondly, the law on removing seats varies between states and territories so what you’ve said does not apply to everyone. Thirdly, why call him a flog for this? Just makes you sound like an arse.

      I've got a pajero sport in NSW and I'm going to have to remove the rear seats aswell. do you know what the process is to get it through NSW RTA and ball park costs?@@4wdsupacentreAu
