    This is the reason farmers are poor in India. If NRI can't invest in aggreculture land then you are missing a free investment.

      You are totally wrong, govt. want agriculture land affordable so that formers can buy land for cultivation.

    My son purchased Afro land during 2007 and he is citizen of us during 2010 now we are holding land doing agri activities with me and my brother in India what can I do further pl give yr advice and guidance he is paying income tax in India

    What as a NRI i buy the land for farming only.? My father is farmer and he can do farming only on that land?

      As a NRI you cannot purchase agricultural land. Although you can buy it on your father's name.
