i like that the gym leaders use one pokemon that isn't their type but terastalise to their type. The levitating electric mismagius and the hilarious real grass type sudowodo are clever. makes battles less easy and more entertaining thematically

If anyone didnt know, once you catch a pokemon Every time you attempt to capture that same pokemon after that it will be caught with a critical capture, that does not entail it wont fail though Youll know if you fail the catch by not getting the crit capture animation :) But if you do get crit capture, you know you caught it just a fun fact!
I liked the video. Yes the first time I played through Paldea in Pokémon Violet I chose Fuecoco. When the starters were revealed I immediately fell in love with the derpy Fire Croc. It honestly got even cuter in the middle with the adorable nest and egg on its head as Crocalor. The final evolution Skelederge is so badass and Torch Song is just an INSANELY AWESOME SIGNATURE MOVE! Honestly it’s as cool as all of the Alolan starters signature moves. All four of those Moves just look absolutely astonishing and have a great secondary effect, (trapping the opponent with Sinister Arrow Raid, ignoring Defense buffs with Darkest Lariat, getting rid of a burn is helpful for your side in Doubles with Sparkling Aria, and of course Tirch Song raises Special Attack making Skelederge an absolute monster of a Special Attacker.)
You do realize Flower Trick exists, right? I love Skeledirge as much as you do, but when I saw that cat, I picked it, and now, I have a move that is STAB, never missing, and always landing a crit. With the insane Attack and Speed that Meowscarada has, I easily swept many teams with that thing. The design and the many weaknesses is a minor setback when you can outspeed and OHKO most of the time, although, if you battle a Golisopod, you're probably screwed.
Watching your playthrough it's so similar to my Violet playthrough. Like not just in what order you did things, but your reactions. Particularly to the car hahaha. I remember thinking "ok... Did I fall asleep and I'm dreaming?" haha
I’ve been watching a lot of playthrough videos of the game and I’m surprised how much more difficult it is for them…. Then I realized it’s easy for me because I grinded till my starter was 2nd evo before I even went after the first titan, and when I tried my first gym I one shot every Pokémon lol
When you said piggy it made me smile because the first time I played this game I was with my 2 year old brother and we saw it and he started smiling and laughing and shouted PIG😂😂

I picked Fuecoco and instantly regreted it. I got a Quaxly sometime later, thinking it was the pick I should of made all along. Wasn't happy. Finally giving in, I got ahold of a little green Neko... and questioned why I was agent this starter from its introduction. Not only is it the fastest and it's signature move always crits... BUT IT'S ALSO BIPEDAL! The thing everyone was fearing was something I was hoping for. ...and when you realize it's HA, you're in for a good time. >:) Since, in a sense, I chose all 3: I also pressed that magical like button and subscribed , because... how am I not already? I keep finding your videos and enjoying them.
As a person who chose Sprigatito, I can say that I boxed it and used a team of other pokemon. I literally just used Arboliva instead. All I heard was that it had a Yo-Yo, and I verbally went "I NEED IT". Then it was kinda goofy looking. :/
the reason why i choose sprigatito is because its secondary dark typing upon evolution, aswell as the move flower trick, which is high powered and always lands critical hits, therefore, even though people dont want to admit it, sprigatito is not a bad starter :/
