I think Jim Ed Brown knew more songs than anybody. I never saw it when he wasn’t singing along or just singing someone else’s songs and never miss a word. He was like an encyclopedia.
He sang this as well as Jim Reeves did, in fact I wasn't watching this as I was listening to the song just now and I forgot that I was listening to Jim Reeves himself. He did an excellent on this song 👌
It's obvious he wishes he was Jim Reeves, but the truth is he's a much lesser version. That being said, much respect to him; still a legend in his own right. Jim Reeves is not a bad idol to have.

I can remember mom playing this song on the guitar ,it most certainly makes me feel old. But it's an oldie n they're the best songs .
