Adding that third staging level was a real breakthrough in this railway puzzle. Someone’s going to have fun building and then operating it, do envy them! Stephen
It became obvious fairly early on that a third deck would be needed for staging, but it was only later that I discovered just how much of the third deck would be used.
mpeterll Ah, I did not know that. I normally watch several of your videos at a time and I don’t often keep up with new subscription videos. It was just a pleasant surprise to me as a newer subscriber.
Hi, As I commented in part 1.: The door left of the Helix to upper deck should turn inward that room or even be placed in the wall in front of the concentric helixes down staging. Imagine the gain of space ! Success !
This is one nice solution to the program. I've never owned a house, but always wanted one, so I'm a bit jealous of those who are blessed with one to do this size layout. I grew up in Boston, Ma., lived in Troy,NY, and are now in Dallas,Tx. If memory serves, isn't Davidson yard a hump yard? I have been wondering how long would it take to create a working Davidson hump yard in an 'N Trak' module format. I'm now 59 and might like to give it a stab.
Any way to have the mouse so it’s colored and thus it’s easier to see? Guess my age is catching up to me . Another great design. Looking forward to getting a chance to see what we come up with when mine enters the design phase. Thanks Peter.
For some people, it may be important to be able to complete a layout. For others, it's about the journey. Some people want to have enough layout to ensure that there is always something more to do. I started work on a much bigger one last week - which will be shown on this channel in due course.

Very interesting how you get so much in such a small space....thanks for sharing....Jack 👍👍👍
Thanks for the compliment, although this space isn't particularly small.
Masterful - looking forward to Part 3
What a fascinating process. Thank you for sharing :)
Almost bedtime here in New Zealand after a long difficult workday. This video is just what the Dr ordered (to go with the beer 🍺)!
Hello New Zealand form Boston, Massachusetts.
Awesome planning and explanation of what you've thought out as always.
Stay well. -Wil 👍
Well thought out, looking forward to part 3
Just hanging out in my garage before bed; a surprise to see a video from this channel at this time of night. Cheers!
I've released a video at the same time every Monday night for the past few years.

@@tylerlafrenais4903 I guess that means you have several years worth of videos to catch up on. Happy viewing.
It took me four days to hitch-hike from Saginaw. This is a brilliant design and I can't wait for the final episode. I hope you get to build it!
My favorite type of videos you do. Keep 'em coming. :)
You are in luck, because I have plenty more layout designs to come.
Cant wait for the next part and again great planing
Have we seen any planing yet, Leif?
It is really impressive how much you can fit on a layout.
Thank-you for the compliment

It's a hump yard, yes -- I just watched the first video in the series and he mentions it in that.
thank you for detail video from Australia

I don't know. I've never wanted to make the mouse pointer more visible. I guess I don't think about that because I know where to look for it.
Beautiful design but it seems like too much track for a single person to lay. I wonder if the owner will actually complete the layout

It's late afternoon or early evening for me watching.
Any1 know what software he uses?
Yes, I use 3rd-plan-it. The demo version is available as a free download, and if you decide you like it, the license is not particularly expensive.
