Cowboy Boy not true even tho Fiona has been through worse that’s not the point the point is that Lip is trying and Fiona is obviously changing from what she use to be... I think Lip has every right to be mad
she is constantly fucking up though and not owing up. she took the squirell fund money and used it to premote a club night, but lip had to make all the money back. she got liam coked up and denied her guiltiness for a long time. she is an alcoholic and is making lip clean up her mess. fiona's character was built around the fact that she cleaned up frank and monica's mistakes and raises them. then she turns into her parents over time and lip is always the one who has to clean up her mess. stopping school to take care of liam. putting his life on hold because fiona doesn't give a shit anymore. fiona raised these kids and she did a great job up to a certain point. throughout the show, they show fiona love constantly and it is clear that they do appreciate her work. lip even told her to live in costa rica with jimmysteve, but she became legal guardian of them all. that means debbie, carl, ian and liam. ian drops out of school, debbie gets knocked up, carl gets arrested and liam almost dies. she stopped caring after a while. this was a great reality check for her and she did a lot better after going to that meeting.
How the hell was that guy 100 days sober if just being near a drink makes him cave. Alcohol is pretty much everywhere. It wasn’t Fiona’s responsibility to keep jason sober
@Ricky Spanish Fiona wasn't that great honestly since the start. She had to bounce. The whole looking for romance getting my life together while still being a cheating slut was really starting to get old
you know there is people who needs to reach the bottom to get helped by other because they dont know when and where to stop. They using self destruction has a shield because that way they think they can still acting cool and normaly so sometimes they have to reach the bottom to see how far they gone and i know what im talking about my sister was in the pretty same case than fiona. For her there was no probleme if she think it ,her fake face was enought for our parents but the night she was crying and refuse to talk or enything until she tries to commit a suicide. There she felt the waste of her life and she decide to talk
i mean next episodes already showed he did this for her own sake. i mean that AA kid wasnt even a subject for it was just a wake up call fo lip the real subject was fiona's turning herself into frank. he knew he cant help her as long as she accept help. you think this was too heartless and fiona didnt deserve after everything she has done for them remember. when debbie pregnant fiona said ''i wont support you, i wont take care of that baby you wont be under my roof''. now she goes full monica on them and lip should tolerate that?
@@dalvinjardiah1703 yes it was she is their legal guardian she is responsible for that and she shouldn't have had drugs in the house in the first place
It's a cycle, Fiona became Frank, Lip became Fiona, Lip's gonna reach a breaking point if he continues to carry his family alone and will end up like Fiona too
The kids are all basically grown. So much has happened over the years. Fiona has never recovered from any of it because it was never about Fiona. She doesn’t know how to take care of herself...never did.
@@madisoncampbell8200 They mean she's not used to having a life of her own. She used to live for the kids but since they're grown, she doesn't know what's left.
I love that little touch when Fiona walks into the room she gets excited about the candy corn. And as soon as Frank walks in he goes “OOH candy corn!” Fiona turned into Frank and that scared the shit out of her.
“Stop comparing them even though the show went out of its way to show how similar they are now! Don’t you know they she raised her siblings and is untouchable because of it?”- standard Fiona fanboy/fangirl
I think thats just a head canon for you buddy lol that wasn't even it she had the same face whenever lip walked away, it was because of that she realized she fucked up. not frank coming in lol
nobody in the family can tell that fiona really needed help, she was so sad and nobody even noticed, and if they did they didn't care. she carried that whole family almost her whole life, they all should've understood that and tried to help her instead of kicking her out and making her feel like she didn't matter to them anymore
Exactly like nobody kicked lip out when he was constantly drunk, fiona might have been harsh but she didn’t turn her back on him yet everytime she made a mistake his ass was always leaving her alone. I love lip but he was a shitty brother to her sometimes and so is debbie. She carried that family for so long but none of them stood by her side when she really needed it
@@slicclmao8366 ppl who hate on her literally didn’t watch the show? So confused on others if we watched the show and think like that like huh? Lip being the best brother where? Barely man
Still gets me how Lip was out here trying to take care of other alcoholics when his sister, who’s been caring for him and everyone in her family since day one, was struggling with alcohol right in front of him, and his answer is to kick her out. Her behavior is screaming out that she needs help but no one was giving her any support
Exactly! I didn't even think about it but he, more than anyone, had a moral responsibility for her seeing as he's in AA yet he cares about some random dude more than his sister
Right! So many people shit on Fiona but she went through so much since she was young, taking care of the whole family. Lip turned into a self righteous a-hole.. Like as if he wasn’t a drunk himself just before this 🙄
Exactly! And this really wasn’t her fault. Fiona didn’t know. It’s not like she flat out asked was he an alcoholic or put a gun to his head and make him take the drink. She offered and he took it. Lip could help everyone else out there but not his sister, and instead get angry at her and anyone else for that matter just because he could. Just when you thought in seasons three and four he understood, but because Lip made poor decisions himself and tried to be better he overlooked Fiona who needed it later too.
Fiona raises all of them, sacrificed everything and tried to hold everything in so that no one felt uncomfortable. And when she needed Lip and her family they closed the door in her face and forgot everything she went through for them
Fr the past few seasons have pissed me off so much. Debbie Ian and Lip are all adults so they SHOULD see what she did for them, but they’re crying about everything she does
I can't justify how Lip can kick her out. I agree with @Gisele Merida. The fact that Fiona sacrificed everything should not be relevant here. Everyone should be responsible for everything one does in the present. Just because she's a saint in the past does not give her free pass on shit she does later. Sorry it ticks me off when people try to pull weight on past good things they have done. I wish people understand that when a person does "good deeds", it should always be just "out of their expanse". If you are expecting return, (which to some degree I don't think Fiona is expecting here), you are not really doing good. And in that context, if Lip extends some form of forgiveness to Fiona, that will be purely out of his good will. Nothing should be "obligated" even Fiona sacrificed everything. I think what I am trying to say is, "doing good" is not a currency. It's not something you can quantify and it's not something you can loan/borrow/return.
@@theatog that’s true but at the same time they all (except Liam) have done something that Fiona could’ve kicked them out for. She made mistakes and she isn’t perfect all, but that’s the same with everyone else and I think it was selfish as hell for lip to do that to the one person who basically raised them. If it wasn’t for her none of them would’ve been there. She had all this shit forced on her at a young age and they all had to learn from the streets because their own parents wouldn’t even bust a sweat to help them out or be there when they needed it. Like I said she isn’t perfect but so they aren’t perfect either, especially lip and instead of actually trying to help her he kicked her out of a house that’s technically isn’t owned by neither one of them. So damn right she sacrificed everything so that they can possibly have a better life then she did, but all of that is for nothing because when she needed help the most, they turned there’re back on her.

@@alexross1997 yeah but again waving around alcohol in public has never ever been good. when lip was at his worst he did it, when fiona was at her worst she did it, and frank does it. she was wrong for doing that.
I understand where Lip is coming from but he’s done wayyyy worse things when he drank, and it’s not her responsibility to ask everyone if they’re in recovery. That was his choice. None of the kids would have made it if it weren’t for Fiona. Fiona needs to get her shit together but Fiona was always there to help her family especially when they were struggling. But when Fiona needs her family they don’t give a shit. And I still don’t understand why it was Fiona’s fault that DCFS came for Xan. That was definitely Lip’s fault for not making sure Xan was being properly watched (not like he would have to begin with) and also Debbie’s fault for not being responsible while watching the kids. Nobody’s perfect
She got her second chance after she almost killed Liam. That was her reality check. Everyone goes through shit, you can control how you deal with it. She shouldn't have been there with alcohol in the first place.
dr_mantis_toboggan well I agree with you a small bit, but Fiona should’ve known that with Lip working at the shop that some sort of rehab people worked there and shouldn’t have been drunk waving around a bottle of vodka. And also for the Xan thing where she screwed up the interview, if you go back and rewatch the part where Lip and Xan come in, he states that he just got her a comforter and had a bunk bed ordered coming in for her and when Fiona made the remark of her not supposed to be a mind reader and it’s his fault for not being home for it, Lip states that the inspector came on short notice and that he wasn’t expecting him so soon. And also from the earlier seasons Fiona would’ve known to lie or done something grasping for straws to make sure the interview went as smooth as possible, but she was too out of it at the time and especially with how bad her drinking had gotten. It also would’ve helped if Debbie’s dumbass was actually watching her daughter like a mother should’ve been instead of going around with Carl’s girlfriend acting dumb and leaving her alone with Fiona who wasn’t in a position to look out for any children with how she had been acting at the time
The pure rage in his voice is excellent. His acting is either coming from personal pain or (even more impressive) he's connected himself so much to the character that Lip's feelings become personal to him
Acting at a high level doesn't come from personal pain, that strategy becomes useless as you desensitize and over use the same emotion for the same reason. They get into a mindset of anger. Still very impressive indeed.
She didn't know. Its not her responsibility to make sure someone stays sober. Itd be one thing if she knew. But she didn't. Really gunna kick out the woman who raised you and basically gave up her entire child hood to do so??? Yea Lip pissed me off here. Shoulda kicked his ass to the street when he was fucking up. Get down from that pedestal dude.

Anyway I'ma still watch haha and I feel for Fiona and I just got done with her last season so yeah I was annoyed a bit there 😂
I was confused when Lip kicks her out. Like, why is it her fault that the dude choose to drink? It's him responsibility. She didn't know yet Lip's kicking out the person who raised him since 9 years old for the dude who's not even family? I'm not sure what going on this season.
yeah it does plus he was the one who asked for the vodka fiona didn’t know but then again why show up to apologize to someone with vodka but she was going through a rough spot especially when debbie kept bugging her about money
it kinda was her fault tho, she needed a reality check, she spent that season getting everyone pissed, Fiona was stressed out and the rest of the family were getting backlash from it. this season was important for Fiona.

The expressions on the faces of Debbie, Kelly, and Carl are so authentic. Like they were actually just mesmerized by how convincing he was with his words that they didn't have to do any acting to convey a nonverbal response.
I think lip should give fiona some slack. She was going through a rough part of her life. She gave up her life, and her dreams to try and raise those children. And yes, she messed up but so does everyone else. When lip was nonstop drinking, fiona helped him. She didnt kick him out, she didnt ban him from the house. She helped him get his life on track again. I just think she deserves a bit more appreciation then what she currently gets.

I’m with Fiona on this one. She’s not anyone’s mother, and if you’re a recovering addict, then it’s your responsibility to grasp ahold of some willpower to walk away from situations that can be detrimental to your recovery. Sorry not sorry, that had nothing to do with Fiona. It was cute that Lip thought he was in a position to kick Fi out the house when it’s in her name; but regardless, his talking and looking down bs on her specifically like she’s lesser irks me-and it’s literally nothing but a display of arrogance.

lip, debbie and ian are so used to Fiona helping them out that they are almost mad when she gets involved. through all their problems she’s put them over herself and when she’s the one that needs help they just expect her to get through it without them. this scene is a perfect example of them being blind to a cry for help. she never once missed any of theirs, even saw their problems coming before the choices they made. i think this point in the show is where the writing starts to get a bit irrational. the decision a characters are making and their stances on things don’t even make sense, even for character development. the only character that has stayed realistic and consistent throughout is Carl. he’s arguably the most self sufficient of the siblings and it goes unsaid the whole show.
I always hated Lip. From the way he treats the women that likes him to the way he is a complete narcissistic hypocrite and dismisses Fiona struggles completely. He expect so much from her, she's not their mother for God sake, she spent her entire childhood filling the parent figure and he just can't give her a break ! Kelaisaha Brown well the way Debbie’s been acting she deserved it she could’ve gotten a job herself instead of stealing and taking advantage of a disabled man
taahirah brown. I agree that was really shitty of Debbie to do. But I think that Fiona was taking care of the kids and almost adopted them, and when she didn’t want to take care of them anymore, because it was getting really hard she just stopped cold turkey and that hurt them ALL really bad
Kelaisaha Brown well they’re not kids anymore except Liam which is why she’s only taking care of him lip and Ian are grown men so she shouldn’t have to take care of them Carl wasn’t really an issue and she tried helping Debbie but Debbie kept being a bitch and saying she’s grown and can do whatever she wants so it’s not her fault
"Family first," he needs to spend more time helping his sister who raised him than strangers. She has not come even close to the fuck up Lip has been. He is likable, but he blew a free ride in college. Fiona made uneducated mistakes that made her go broke, become depressed etc.. Lip is a genius, literally nothing happened to him that should have caused a downward spiral. She was an old lady professor who was married.
I mean that’s just the tip of the iceberg; he blew a free ride in college, fucked his professor, which is what led to his alcoholism and getting kicked out, making stupid ass fucking decisions, showing up to work (a job that his sister got for him when he fucked everything up for himself) completely drunk, her giving him second chance after second chance, destroying his professors car, fucking up working at the sorority house (which gave him housing AND a job), beating his “casual flings” ex in the middle of the street while wasted- I mean the list goes on. And Fiona still helped him through that bullshit disaster, while he had multiple people supporting him. While absolutely no one gives a fuck about what’s going on with Fiona. But yeah, according to half these comments, Fiona is the one becoming like Frank lol. What a joke.
My thing is Lip had a bad habit of taking responsibility for other ppl when he barely had his own sh*t together, all the while expecting Fiona to “cover for him” when she was knowingly going through a similar rough time. He never actually told her Jason was an alcoholic, or that DCFS was coming to the house & he never once took into account all the things that led up to those situations. It just seemed like it was easier for him to put it all on Fiona because she was hitting rock bottom & he was already somewhat recovered from his own addiction. IMO Lip has always thought he was somewhat above Fiona & that he was the only one capable of making something of himself. He could barely congratulate her whenever she did have a successful investment. And Fiona never kicked Lip down the way he did her when he was struggling himself, if anything she supported him, gave him a job after he got expelled etc. I love this show & all the characters including Lip, but none of the story is black or white & none of them are perfect. I think that’s what I love most about the show honestly.
Oh Lip absolutely thought he was above her. And that was evident throughout the entire fucking series. Even in earlier seasons, Lip berates or shits on Fiona about whatever job she’s working that season and starts talking about how he’ll definitely become the money-maker soon since she ‘sucks at it’. Like when he straight up shit-talks her to her face when he had that free internship and thought he was so much better than her, essentially saying that her attempts at improving herself were pointless. Absolutely hate his character. He’s got so many narcissistic qualities and a “holier-than-thou” attitude that I just can’t come to like him.
Lip basically turned his back on the only real mother he ever had. Blaming Fiona for someone else's bad decision wasn't the way to go, she's not a mind reader. If she had known she would've helped the guy. Because all she ever did was help everyone else. Except herself. And then Lip turned on her ass. God damn.
The acting in the show is actually something else. All of them are sooo good honestly. If I had to rate top 3, i’d say Fiona, lip, then Frank. They deserve a million emmys. I swear this show is like watching real life. Everything is so real and raw, uncut, like I can reach out and touch. The actors/actresses and the script writers are amazing.
A) The whole point is Lip told her that she shouldn’t be getting drunk in the middle of the day everyday, and her carrying a bottle around mid-day caused this B) That shop was meant for recovering addicts to keep them distracted. It’s been mentioned in previous season and Fiona should have known that.
Deleralia Lip never told her that he was a sponsor nor that jason was his sponsee nor did jason tell her that either. And not only that jason asked fiona if he could have some of her vodka she never offered him any. Even Jason told Lip it was his fault and not Fiona’s. How was she supposed to know that he was a recovering?

this reminds me of a scene in one of the last episodes of the final season of buffy. after years of carrying her friends and family and the weight of the world on her shoulders, buffy makes one big mistake and the entire group turns on her and literally kicks her out of her own home. they don’t even acknowledge the fact that none of them would even be alive if it weren’t for her sacrifices and strength, and they basically spit in her face and tell her that she didn’t earn her place as leader. lip doing this to fiona reminded me a lot of that, because the lack of understanding on his part speaks volumes. when lip went through his own struggles with alcohol, fiona never turned her back on him. and now she’s become the very thing she always swore she wouldn’t, because of the years of strife and pain she’s put herself through to keep her family together, and lip just tells her to fuck off? she needed real help. she needed her family to be there for her like she always was.
I mean yeah it was shitty but if she didn't know then how could you blame her? Its not a normal question to be like "hey are you my bros sponsie and do you have a drug or alcohol problem".
Lmao. Right? Not to mention, she isn't responsible if someone falls off the wagon. If Lip was trying to help this person with self control and quitting something they were addicted to, he did a piss poor job.
This will forever be my favorite show. As someone who grew up with such turmoil and now tends to be the root cause of it, I am sorry for everyone I have hurt or touched their lives in a negative way. All we can ever do is try to be better today than we were yesterday.
I really do appreciate them doing this and showing Fiona with all that pressure is gonna crack eventually with the weight on your shoulders. When you are everyone’s person and no one is there for you on that level and don’t wanna show weakness / sadness to the kids you tried to protect that from. It’s really so deep and such a cycle for anyone who has grown up in an environment like that this makes sense
Every time lip struggled Fiona helped him and every time she feel down lip was just a monster and honestly his character pissed me the fuck off this season
I sides with Lip. I love Fiona, but she let herself go down this path. And yes, the sponsor did too; but Fiona would have noticed in the past. She did an amazing job raising these kids in the past but that does not excuse her behaviour here. She was arguably the most destructive one. And she definitely was the one who never could take the blame. This was proven over many times from accusing Mike of “setting her up” to lie when no he didn’t she just lied. Another one was in the very first episode when Jimmy made a harsh comment about how her past boyfriends treated her, and she realises it (you can clearly see it on her face) but she still takes it out on him. Again with Liam and the Cocaine, she doesn’t take responsibility when she 100% did leave it out, turn her back, and then he got into it. This behaviour is strongly from having to be in defensive survival-mode, but it doesn’t mean it is a good trait. Her inability to take blame/responsibility really messes up her progress sometimes. The drinking was on her, even if we are sympathetic/empathetic to the situation. But also fuck Lip for turning his back. He was right to be harsh and yell, not okay to kick her out.
It’s sad she did everything for then then she broke and cried for help but the only thing people did was blame her for everything I really felt bad for her
I always did hate the fact Lip blamed her. She didn't know who that guy was. It's not like she actually waved her bottle around to get him drunk. She didn't offer it to him. He asked for it. She gave it to him. What he did after that, SHE had nothing to do with it. And I understand that sobriety means a lot to those who are working to stay sober. After Lips AA he got seriously annoying
i love the way fiona smiles & laughs out of disbelief throughout this specific season. very nonchalant. idk if that was scripted or if emmy just did it on her own, but that says a lot without her even speaking.

i hated lip so much for this, he always seems to think the worst of fiona ever since what happened with liam it’s like he’s trying to push her way from the family and no one was acting this way to lip when he was being a drunk and fucking everything up everyone tried to help him including fiona.
I don’t think a lot of people realize that Fiona-after all she’s been through since she was a kid-finally had a mental breakdown. This was her coping mechanism.

Like as if he wasn’t a drunk himself just before this 🙄
He is a narcissist. He's doing that for himself and his ego. Exactly.. charity or kind deeds start in the home

Ima isn't a word
Yeah, maybe season 1 and possibly 2 but otherwise, she was turning into Frank slowly. Lip is the most responsible one now.
Fiona raises all of them, sacrificed everything and tried to hold everything in so that no one felt uncomfortable. And when she needed Lip and her family they closed the door in her face and forgot everything she went through for them
Fr the past few seasons have pissed me off so much. Debbie Ian and Lip are all adults so they SHOULD see what she did for them, but they’re crying about everything she does
That was past fiona, she's not the same, she becoming like frank
True but I do t like really like her she’s a narcissist and expects a lot of things to be given to her for free

Acting at a high level doesn't come from personal pain, that strategy becomes useless as you desensitize and over use the same emotion for the same reason. They get into a mindset of anger. Still very impressive indeed.

i think this point in the show is where the writing starts to get a bit irrational. the decision a characters are making and their stances on things don’t even make sense, even for character development. the only character that has stayed realistic and consistent throughout is Carl. he’s arguably the most self sufficient of the siblings and it goes unsaid the whole show.

GORT ROBOT nah nigga fuck that , culpability and taking responsibility for your own damn actions , wether she’s drunk it’s your choice to follow that lead don’t be afucking sheep. That’s the problem with people now in fucken day , what we you do is because what next man did it’s fucken stupid
It might not’ve been completely fair, but it’s what Fiona needed to hear.
When lip gets calm and demands something... just walks away, you know he means that shit.
I feel like lip became the new Fiona
Kelaisaha Brown he’s too much of a hypocrite to be Fiona
taahirah brown that is also true , but I feel like in the responsible sibling and taking care of the kids wise. But don’t forget how Fiona told Debbie to get a job, then she gives debs a job at the laundromat. then a few days later sells the place and has Debbie fired.
Lol good luck with that. Fiona owns the house and she’s allowed to have some fun after holding everything together for her whole life.
What a joke.
so much tension, just saw this scene today for the first time and was absolutely blown away..!!! what an actor
MorpheuZmusic me too!! seen it last night, amazing seeing the looks on carl kelly & debbie's faces too
Duuuuude….Jeremy Allen White is just terrific. From Shameless to The Bear…I can definitely see him winning an Oscar in a big movie.
This was definitely one of the BEST scenes of the entire series!!!
POWERFULLY EMOTIONAL......... The acting by Jeremy Allen White was PERFECT!
This was not Fiona's fault..She didn't know Lip was his sponsor and he was an addict; and its his own choices..
Jeremy is a badass actor holy crap.
Fiona became who she never thought she would be. Lip had no place to call her out like this. He owed her so much, and he forgot that all too quickly.
Fiona was behaving a lot like Frank in this scene and Lip behaving like the former. It’s like a cycle.
Exactly.. she did nothing of that on purpose..
U feel the conviction in his voice when he yells " 100 days he was sober"
Fiona is always the blame how was this even her fault
A) The whole point is Lip told her that she shouldn’t be getting drunk in the middle of the day everyday, and her carrying a bottle around mid-day caused this
B) That shop was meant for recovering addicts to keep them distracted. It’s been mentioned in previous season and Fiona should have known that.
It's obviously her fault. Idk why so many people stick behind her. Lip is definitely right in this situation. She fucked up
Deleralia Lip never told her that he was a sponsor nor that jason was his sponsee nor did jason tell her that either. And not only that jason asked fiona if he could have some of her vodka she never offered him any. Even Jason told Lip it was his fault and not Fiona’s. How was she supposed to know that he was a recovering?
taahirah brown because that shop was meant for recovering addicts and lip told her that so she should’ve known
@@taahirahbrown606 that shop was meant for recovering addicts and lip told her that. past fiona would have known and actally cared about the sponser guy, but she stopped giving a shit. she is constantly fucking up though and not owing up. she took the squirell fund money and used it to premote a club night, but lip had to make all the money back. she got liam coked up and denied her guiltiness for a long time. she is an alcoholic who drinks during the day instead of raising the kids. and is making lip clean up her mess. fiona's character was built around the fact that she cleaned up frank and monica's mistakes and raises them. then she turns into her parents over time and lip is always the one who has to clean up her mess. stopping school to take care of liam. putting his life on hold because fiona doesn't give a shit anymore. fiona raised these kids and she did a great job up to a certain point. throughout the show, they show fiona love constantly and it is clear that they do appreciate her work. lip even told her to live in costa rica with jimmysteve, but she became legal guardian of them all. that means debbie, carl, ian and liam. ian drops out of school, debbie gets knocked up, carl gets arrested and liam almost dies. she stopped caring after a while. this was a great reality check for her and she did a lot better after going to that meeting.
Fiona and lip both ended up with an alcohol problem. Only difference is, Fiona raised five children first.🤣
I kno right perfect excuse to throw your life away
Fiona deserved better than the family she had. They honestly did nothing to deserve her.
Lip and Fiona's actors are so amazing, whenever they have serious scenes together they really knock it out of the park
Each one of the characters on this show deserved an Emmy for their performances!!
this reminds me of a scene in one of the last episodes of the final season of buffy. after years of carrying her friends and family and the weight of the world on her shoulders, buffy makes one big mistake and the entire group turns on her and literally kicks her out of her own home. they don’t even acknowledge the fact that none of them would even be alive if it weren’t for her sacrifices and strength, and they basically spit in her face and tell her that she didn’t earn her place as leader.
lip doing this to fiona reminded me a lot of that, because the lack of understanding on his part speaks volumes. when lip went through his own struggles with alcohol, fiona never turned her back on him. and now she’s become the very thing she always swore she wouldn’t, because of the years of strife and pain she’s put herself through to keep her family together, and lip just tells her to fuck off? she needed real help. she needed her family to be there for her like she always was.
Liam deserves an award for his acting in season 11 .. absolutely brilliant ..his expressions his attitude .. brilliant
They all really loved being angry. Like they lived for expressing it.
The candy corn thing was a good touch cause earlier that scene she was like “oooh candy corn, I’m gonna eat the shit out of these” just like frank did
I mean yeah it was shitty but if she didn't know then how could you blame her? Its not a normal question to be like "hey are you my bros sponsie and do you have a drug or alcohol problem".
Lmao. Right? Not to mention, she isn't responsible if someone falls off the wagon. If Lip was trying to help this person with self control and quitting something they were addicted to, he did a piss poor job.
because he's human. humans are stupid and generally don't think about others
But wasn’t it more about her drinking problem, like he was tryna make her see she’s hitting rock bottom n becoming frank
Super Shepherd Most of the people who work there are in recovery
She shouldn't have been there with alcohol in the first place.
This will forever be my favorite show. As someone who grew up with such turmoil and now tends to be the root cause of it, I am sorry for everyone I have hurt or touched their lives in a negative way. All we can ever do is try to be better today than we were yesterday.
Such a good actor, such raw emotion
Poor Kelly. The innocent bystandered.😅
And yet I still love her smile it's so adorable
What brilliant acting. I've watched enough time to start actually watching it
I really do appreciate them doing this and showing Fiona with all that pressure is gonna crack eventually with the weight on your shoulders. When you are everyone’s person and no one is there for you on that level and don’t wanna show weakness / sadness to the kids you tried to protect that from. It’s really so deep and such a cycle for anyone who has grown up in an environment like that this makes sense
Fiona was crying for help. But no one could see it. No one seems to notice when she needs help. I miss her.
Every time lip struggled Fiona helped him and every time she feel down lip was just a monster and honestly his character pissed me the fuck off this season
Right. He was such a prick
Right I hate him
I sides with Lip.
I learned a lot from this show! Lip hands down a terrific actor🤝💯
Omg, he's amazing. My favorite actor
This is my all time favorite show. So raw and it shows what happens in the real world and not beat around the bush. You can learn a lot from this show
Lip has to get down off his high horse. He literally stalked somebody while he was drunk and broke into her house lol.
i love the way fiona smiles & laughs out of disbelief throughout this specific season. very nonchalant. idk if that was scripted or if emmy just did it on her own, but that says a lot without her even speaking.
I havnt watch season 9 yet but damn fiona used to be one of my favorites, she would put everyone's needs before hers and tried to take care of everyone but from the looks of this I'm lowkey mad that they doin fiona like this... now she seems like she gave up, pls dont tell me shes going to turn into a drunk..
Tiffany Durette ok I won’t. But I’d be lying

Jeremy is an amazing actor.
he is SUCH a GREAT actor !!!
This was the most powerful scene of the whole show
Lip, is my, dude!!!! Jeremy Allen White, is amazin.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I heard of Shameless before, but never watch it. Watched first 2 minutes, thought it was a bit lame. Now I'm ready to watch again.
Anh Tien Quang Nguyen 2 minutes is not much...
Dude watch it. It's so fucking good and sad. Each episode gets better
Yeah it just builds each season because they make you care for the characters so much.
If you judge anything on a small sample size like that, you won't ever find good things
Imagine watching 2 minutes of a show and deciding whether it’s good or bad
jeremy is such an amazing actor holy shit
i hated lip so much for this, he always seems to think the worst of fiona ever since what happened with liam it’s like he’s trying to push her way from the family and no one was acting this way to lip when he was being a drunk and fucking everything up everyone tried to help him including fiona.
The shameless cast are such good actors istg 😭
I don’t think a lot of people realize that Fiona-after all she’s been through since she was a kid-finally had a mental breakdown. This was her coping mechanism.
😂😂😂 It's f**king hilarious that lip got all high and mighty on Fiona after all the dumb shit he's done... That's why when she left that ungrateful family without even saying goodbye... It made me so happy cause she was finally thinking of her own happiness
Lip is lowkey selfish. After all the shit Fiona has done of him
And that excuses this?
one right doesn’t make a wrong
@@meirakarys he literally was an alcoholic himself and did a bunch of lousy shit
@@johanaalmendarez6580 i know that, but just because fiona did amazing, selfless things, doesn’t give her an excuse to go off the rails and be completely irresponsible
@@johanaalmendarez6580 but lip got his shit together and did rehab. Fiona has no excuses, taking care of her siblings isn't an excuse for her to do whatever the fuck she wants. Lip is upset that she is acting like her actions dont have consequences.
jeremy is so good, holy shit
He’s a fantastic actor. Hope he gets a lot of good roles in the future.
this comment aged well
Its quite poetic to have frank enter like an omen of what could be if she continues acting this way
even though fiona is going through hard shit she’s avoiding any and all responsibility. if she wants to get better it starts with her
since SEASON 1 !! SEASON 1!!! Fi held up this family she did everything she could, she raised these kids into who they are today . when they were BROKE she fought and got more than 2 jobs!!! to keep the gas, air, lights on etc . and this is the respect she gets . let’s clap 👏🏼
Jeremy Allen White is such a talented actor though he made me cry in this scene
Frank walking in like nothing happened was great
Fiona showed no sense of care in her eyes. This show is all about eyeball acting
The eyes are the window to the soul
yes she did, what are you on about? she had shock and disbelief on her face and then guilt. can you not read facial expressions?
@@Sixgirlss oh yeah I forgot the part when she went 😣😖😫😩😭
@@NoRestEffect ya know that’s not always that that shows shock and guilt and disbelief right- Like bro just by ur profile pick I really am embarrassed for you
@@froggo4408 you need to relax. I talk about a show and you come at my person. Please find a hobby
Unpopular opinion but it’s not Fiona’s problem if Jason drank, you’re not required to ask every single person if they are an addict when they ask for a drink. Plus Lip has some way worse and now that he’s finally sober he thinks he has the right to say who can and can’t live in the house 😂
That's fair, but in the past, Fiona would have known that the shop was a place for recovering alcoholics, the past Fiona would have heard Lip talk about Jason at least once, and the past Fiona wouldn't even have vodka in her bag.
