We spent about a week in Tokyo before doing the Kumano Kodo hike. This was the first of the vlogs we filmed during that period. We started in the Tsukiji fish market before quickly heading to the Hamarikyu Gardens. We then saw the Ni-Tele Really Big Clock designed by Hayao Miyazaki. After that, Thomas and I rendezvoused with others at the Nintendo Store in Shibuya after crossing the the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Then we went to the Muscle Girls Bar where Andrew got the bajeezus slapped out of him. That was actually pretty unpleasant to watch to be honest, but I'm sure he wants it archived on the internet since he had to go through it.

I was in tokyo from the 27th until sep 3rd... and other parts of the country prior. It was a 16 day trip.. you think your hike was hot? Be glad you weren't there a week and a half earlier. I was I'm Kyoto around the 20th to 24th. It was miserable, considerably worse than the last few days of August.

I took my wife to Japan from Canada August 2, 2016 and stayed in Shiodome the first night in an awesome hotel. Then we went to the fish market before it moved with some friends we met from Ireland on the elevator at our hotel. Right after that we went to the Hamarikyu Gardens about the same time in the morning you went. It looked the same as it did in the video. You could spend weeks walking around Shiodome itself. It's amazing. Like the most futuristic place in the world.
