- Please come explore as we take a look inside this Abandoned $2,000,000 Middle GA Gothic era style Mansion, Known to some as the vampire mansion due to the intricate details and color schemes inside the home. You can see various styles inside the home from Gothic era, Oriental, and early to mid 1900's This was once a beautiful mansion that has been abandoned for several years. You can see the mold, the rust, and the elements starting to slowly take the home back over.

The room you called a “ballroom” is called a Sun Porch. It’s a respite spot for reading, napping, relaxing in daytime hours. Think plants, chaises, large glass table… the perfect place for tea and scones!

The intricate details in every room is absolutely amazing. Someone put a lot of time to build their dream home… years ago. Although it’s extravagant and lovely to watch, I became very sad for the person or people that once called this their home and now it’s a dead capsule of old times forgotten of someone’s once vibrant life and dreams.
I would have to agree with you, but, I hope that their children live on with their own lives and dreams in new and better homes. If I or someone else were to buy this middle class house, it could be repaired and improved for our lives and dreams also. Of course the door would be open to those who were there before us to visit. It is a matter of noblesse oblige. The thing is. I do not even know what city it is in. So how would I contact the listing agent?
Losing a pretty, expensive house does not make me feel sorry for anyone without knowing what kind of person they were... their character and morality.
That place looks pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind living there!

The small area off the kitchen with the smaller fridge and wine cooler is called a "Butler's Pantry", this home features "tray ceilings",and the brick structure on the patio is located off the Butler's Pantry is a brick oven. Used mostly for baking old world style artisan breads.
Actually they’re coffered ceilings. A tray ceiling is just one large recessed space in a ceiling, usually with recessed lights.

Whomever designed this house had a very active imagination. Someone who loved old southern french architecture. It's very dark and eclectic in nature with tons of old world charm. It's truly magnificent, a real treasure. It's a real shame that no one has put love and life back into it.
I love it. Both my hubby and I are into the vampire/goth thing and this house is in the style we love.
While this may not be the biggest mansion it was designed to utilize every inch of space. The floorplan, in my opinion is what sets it apart and makes it more liveable than most mansions. I could really enjoy this place because it has so much to offer a person.
I would have to agree with you, and add that despite some of the flash and bling, I wonder about some of the feature suggesting a family life there before.
Those doors would make my OCD go crazy. I'm constantly checking mine to make sure they are locked.
Get big dogs, your security takes care of itself when fed and house trained. LoL

Can't have been 'abandoned' for very long - it's in great shape. Plus the electricity is ON, someone is paying the bills and there's still a lot of stuff there. Guessing someone has bought it and is prep'ing for renovation. Even saw several tools around like someone is already working on it. I wouldn't call it abandoned, more like trespassing.
I wonder why the buyer doesn't have it locked up then. 🤔
The ceilings you ask about the style of at about 3:30 in the video are "Coffered Ceilings".

That might be the home of one of the founders of White Wolf Games who created the Vampire: The Masquerade RPG. He died suddenly in 2017.
So many interesting architectural statements going on and a very personal color scheme for sure. Would love to see someone revamp this home without ruining it's uniqueness.

The area where you thought a bed might have been was a dining room and that outline was likely a large electric fireplace. The little area off that room with a refrigerator and sink is a butler's pantry which leads from the kitchen for ease of serving.

@susannahhunt100 That's like saying we're alone in the universe. It's pretty arrogant to have this way of thinking. Think for instance of how much we still don't know about what's in the farthest depths of our oceans or even our solar system. If God and Heaven exist, then so does Lucifer and Hell. There may very well be super natural beings that we don't know about. We'll never really know. I for one won't be small minded enough to think that what we as humans concider impossible isn't possible. For all we know there could multiple universe's. Having said that, if vampires or the like do exist they're definitely not of God's doing hence it's best not to know.

The large room with a half bath and the sink looks like it was probably an art/craft room with the craft supplies down the hall.
form the outside it does look like the Slavitor mansion, it really does look like their vampire mansion, kind of cool.
That little room off from the kitchen with the cabinets and small gold sink is a butler's pantry. It's a food prep area and storage for china, crystal silverware, and valuable items. Now, they're used as a coffee bar and storage. That small house you couldn't get into looks like a guest house. I wonder what it's like in there?

The inset in squares ceilings, are architecturally referred to as Coffered. You typically would see these in British Castles & large Manner homes.

The colors and design is reminiscent of the Palace of knossos on Crete as well as French themes. Owner was definitely an artist.
What’s to stop people from? Just squatting there? Are you tempted to do that? Even for just a couple days? Stock the fridge hang out in the vampire bedroom. That place would be perfect for a Halloween party.

@chimom7112 I think maybe in some cases they do it to keep the humidity level down so mold doesn't form. But in many cases it doesn't help because people smash windows or leave doors wide open after they visit

Interesting place, great video. This reminds me of a mixture of an Italian designer and Frank Lloyd Wright architectural masterpiece. I’d love to live there but I love the cold weather too much, plus I couldn’t afford it nowadays... Subscribed 👍🛎

Some of my mansions are Frank Llyod Wright, this one maybe but by the time I got it in the late 1970's had been modified.

It's eccentric for sure. I don't think I'd want to live in it though because it's too chopped up the way that it's laid out. I'd probably forget how to get from room to room. It's too bad you couldn't get into that oriental looking building that you showed through the window, I bet that's pretty cool in there.
