Ethan....they goin to tear down that house with a real wood floor???....and ppl are flying to Home depot to get that fake wood looking tile???....its a shame...This house is simply gorgeous like Versace.
WOW THAT SURPRISE AT THE END UNREAL!!! ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE BEAUTY ALREADY IN THIS HOUSE JUST GORGEOUS!! THANK YOU WHAT A BEAUTY!!! WHAT IS UP ETHAN LOVE YOU FROM TEXAS!!! TELL MY OTHER GUYS HELLO FOR ME!!!❤
I've watched a few of your videos. I hope someone takes out the sconces, shandeliers and other high end stuff. If not, what a big waste. The woodwork in some of those homes is not cheap!
Out of all your basements you’ve done this was amazing. It was finished and Cozy! The wood and wallpaper is stunning! Thanks for exploring this one for us. Absolutely loved it Ethan!!
That stair case looks very 1920's. Beautiful. Up until seeing the staircase, it was hard to tell that this house was built in the 1920's. Great video, Ethan. Thanks.
Gianni Versace was an iconic fashion designer. And that mansion reflects his good taste and creative influence. Thank you for sharing it with us, Ethan! This place is truly a treasure!!!
@ I’ve worn his clothes for many years. Do you honestly think a man who had an empire valued at 800 million is gonna g to spray paint his name on his walls? Very déclassé What state was this place located? Easy enough to find out if it was really his. To my knowledge. The only properties he owned in the US were Miami and NYC.
Ethan?!! This house was built in 1925, and has only ever had two owners (Neither of whom was Gianni Versace.. whom FYI never lived in Toronto? Where/how did you ever come up with that one? LOL) Although it is only a three bedroom house, it was the centerpiece of a large 7 acre estate, until it was sold the first time in 1982 when the property was subdivided by slicing off 2 large lots from each side on and two from the rear opening onto a side street. However, the gardens, ponds and tennis court, along with the circular front drive and fountain, remained with the house on the center lot. Those same 2nd owners (who lived there until 2022) did those renos and additions you noted at that time, along with the biggest exterior change which was to change the distinct bright orange (and leaky!) original terra-cotta spanish tile roof, to the brown shingles that you see today. Lastly, that "old style" wall telephone you noted in the kitchen is/was actually the video phone hooked up to an external camera to view and open the (now gone) front driveway entrance gates. I'm as surprised that you missed this detail, as I am that you choose to add the un-neccessary superfluous(and untrue) fake Versace click-bait reference? [P.S.: There are two terrific RUclips realty sales videos (still online!) for this property from 3 years ago, which show the gardens still intact and the house fully furnished, that you might wanna add the links to on here?)
Beautiful home! Especially like the foyer, and the Versace wallpaper. It's a shame to think this house will be torn down. Thank you for the tour, and happy New Year, Ethan
This is one of my favorites!! What a beautiful place! There are so many details, the floors, trim, stairs, that hot tub built into the floor!! How can this be torn down?? I know we say that a lot but it needs to be answered! Thanks Ethan!
This is one of my very favorite houses - love the floor plan and outside property. Even though it has an 80s vibe, it was clearly decorated with a lot of style/class. I am always impressed by your respect for the houses you explore and knowledge of what we are looking at i.e. you knew the Juliet balcony. How many young dudes know that’s what it’s called. 😊
Love the house. Why always demo? Come in clean up giant lot, update bathrooms and kitchen. Everyone has to have bigger and better. Thanks, Ethan, for showing us this amazing property.
That white outdoor furniture that you thought was ugly, ugly is a vintage Victorian set. Usually there is a settee and two chairs. I saw a three piece set listed for over $1,600 dollars. So much for ugly.😀
money and value doesn’t always mean it’s pretty! i’ve seen $15 tshirts from walmart or kohl’s that are more appealing to me than some $2500 designer shirt from gucci.
Hey Ethan, I love how you walk around and talk about the house and your experiences when doing so. It’s like having a conversation with you. Thank you for sharing
Thank you Ethan. So in the laundry room it says Gianni. That is the same way Gianni Versace spelled his first name. So did Gianni Versace live there? From grass Valley California.
I love the door, the hallway and garage archways very nice and as always it’s such a shame to tear down a very unique home. Thank you for sharing. Take care and be safe.🫶🏻❤️🤠
@ I know. I’ve been watching Ethan long enough to know the titles can be maybe a tad bit off. I like him anyway. He’s the first urbex person I started watching on RUclips.
What amazing house 🎉 Other than some water damage in some ceilings, its a true mansion with no damage. When do we move in😊 It is a shame it’s going away to build a cheaper looking house not a home. Thanks for showing it. I don’t know who said they saw it before, it’s so many hidden rooms.❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
The burls on that tree, didn't even mention them! The best investment is the size of the lot. Houses right next to each other, glad I'm in the middle in the mountains.
I LOVE It!!!!!! Strange how the pool almost looks like it is floating. That must be some earth work ya know the ground the whole place sits on. Seeings how it is 4 layers high with the pool on the main level. Amazing house I would love to have enough $ to own it. Not just that, have enough $ to sustain the living costs. Sad.
That's probably the last renovation of the list of 3 or 4. The property is lovely, and has elements of a true 30's mansion, tennis court, garden folly, beauty spots. It must have been awesome in the original form. Cool place Ethan....
My favorite room was actually the one with the bed and the curved desk. Loved the wallpaper, and all the natural wood. Great find and sad its being torn down for something more modern. Until the next adventure!
Its sad this will be demolished! That nobody wanted to buy it and keep up its beauty. This is one of the most beautiful homes you've visited so far ! ❤️
I would buy this home and have it moved in an instant! It’s to nice to tear down just to build a new home in its place!!!! There are so many people that can’t afford a new home and this would definitely be one for a first time owner!😊 When you Nathan say that all the fixtures are gaudy and the wall paper is 😮ugly just have someone strip off the wallpaper and replace the all the old fixtures and put newer ones on! I would definitely buy this home and have it moved somewhere else and then update up everything!! New homes have to much wasted space and folks now days have to be better than anyone else!!! New cars, new furniture, better schools, all sports, new clothes, and lastly a new exterior. This list is just a start. A person can go on and on. Just a shame how homes can be torn down, but and no one cars!😢😢
I hope they rebuild in a similar style or that fountain will look out of place and its too insanely gorgeous for removal. I really hope they salvage 99% of the interior and windows.
Im glad you are caring for the property and what's inside. I watched another couple guys exploring and the one just dropped dishes and other things not caring and then i saw a comment that said " it's junk, who cares ". Maybe to the commenter, but not to everyone!
@ethanminnie thank you for replying to me. Can I ask you what got you started in the exploring business? I've watched you for awhile now and am just curious. There seems to be alot of people doing the same thing.
Beautiful home. Very rich looking so sad their demoing it. Still a beautiful home. Lots of mirrors and the rooms are large hell Id live there. Thanks again ❤
Oh La - La ... what a great house . Actually the front of the house reminds me of 24 Sussex drive . Enjoyed your stepping on the pool cover " blooper " as well as your new shoes in the mud . The flowery wallpaper in the washroom is quite ,,, overwhelmingly busy . Fantasic rooms & details . Another good one young man . 😎
Happy New Years Ethan The house is really nice and glad to say the basement was nice too. Seemed like a cosy house on every floor. 27:18 I got jump scare thought it was real person in the shower 😂
Along with my last comment, I hope that they salvage some of the furniture that you guys came across along with some of Chandeliers that you Guys came across because if it went down with the House. It would be such a shame.😢
You need to start looking in those mechanical rooms because there are people out there that are interested and what kind of heating and air-conditioning they have going on. I was a Sheet Metal worker so I’m interested in how they arrange their duck and all that stuff and how old the furnace is. All that stuff.
This is one house I could see myself living in. There’s a few changes that I’d make like making an actual wet bar in the basement and upgrading plumbing and electrical. And I’d probably have to put a whole new jacuzzi and sauna in. But my word that land is gorgeous.
Every time you said WOW I was saying it too .. this is MY KINDA HOUSE….. sure wouldn’t mind owning it especially if the rooms were somewhat smaller.. Those bedrooms are HUGE !
This is an absolutely stunning house. Like I have said before it’s a shame they are tearing down such beautiful homes just to throw something supposedly better up in a few months time without half of the quality ( seriously ).
Ethan hopefully before any of these houses get demolished they let the people who do salvage come in and take the wood and things that can be salvaged. It’s a shame to let all the beautiful things go waste.
I’d really have to say Ethan ! This is truly my favorite ❤️ house thus far in the Ethan’s exploration saga. It’s truly exquisite and beautiful so gorgeous and well designed that hard rocky exterior facing of the house beautiful the lions face on that solid front door 🚪 stunning. Classic from top to bottom. And it’s nestled in between other nestled houses so clever. And the hilly like quality and all those cozy beautiful bedrooms so classic! Wow!! That’s definitely a house I’d dream to have but well one can dream 😋 anyhow thanks again for all you do Ethan and happy new year 🎆🎊🎈 Tony 😊

Interesting you called it "Versace's" mansion then you found "Gianni" written on the walls, that was his first name, Gianni Versace.
Ethan....they goin to tear down that house with a real wood floor???....and ppl are flying to Home depot to get that fake wood looking tile???....its a shame...This house is simply gorgeous like Versace.
I love the dark wood!!! Such a shame!

Truth! Nothing like a genuine wood floor! Absolutely beautiful 😊
I've watched a few of your videos. I hope someone takes out the sconces, shandeliers and other high end stuff. If not, what a big waste. The woodwork in some of those homes is not cheap!
It's about to be demolished so alot of materials will be salvaged.

Tacky as hell. Bet he never stayed there much.
@@mogadon7who? And your tastes are immature!
Oh, it makes me sick knowing someone is tearing that beautiful home down!!! It's amazing inside and out.
Your commentaries always make your house tours so interesting.
Right! I’ve learned a lot from him!
Beautiful old home! Its sad to know all this beauty is gone!
Gorgeous house, it makes me feel heartsick, just knowing that they are going to tear this exceptional mansion down ☹🤢
thanks for posting! 👍
Super sad 😢

This was not Versace’s mansion. It was just that the wallpaper in the one place reminded him of Versace. Just clikbait.
deb, his name was literally written on the wall…
@@ethanminnie What does that prove? Some punks got in and spray painted it. Gianni woudn't paint his name on the wall like that.
@@Coasterdude02149oh, i’m glad you knew him personally enough to know that. oh wait…
