I am a smoker, i smoke roll ups with a filter i put in. I have to say i enjoy a few roll ups in the morning especially with my cup of tea and coffee. I know it's really bad for me and it will probably kill me. I'm 54 and suffer from depression and anxiety. I gave up alcohol almost 10 years ago when i was a full alcoholic drinking a full bottle of brandy everyday. I also had drug issues which i gave up and still get counselling for. Smoking is my only vice and i really enjoy it. All my family has passed away apart from 1 brother who i love so much, he's a smoker aswell. I've been divorced for 15 years and moved back to my home town when i knew my marriage was finished. I had a stepson who is a grown man now, but i don't have contact with either my wife or son. What I'm trying to say is i am not hurting anyone but myself when i enjoy my smoking. Here's to all those smokers who are old enough 🚬
Trust me, I was on 30 a day for 20 years and I recently quit with the help of vaping. It's definitely the most successful for a lot of people. Give it a try. Yes it's not without risks, but compared to cigs it's 95% less harmful and only contains nicotine not the 70+ cancer chemicals cigs do
I had a friend in high-school who said "the nice thing about being a smoker is, no matter how bad things get, you can always say 'well, at least I have a cigarette.'" Haha crosses my mind every once in a while and this made me think about it again. I feel the same way OP. My life doesn't allow for much indulgence anymore... but at least I can still enjoy a cigarette at the end of a long day
I thought I was a heavy smoker (until quitting recently) and I was on 30 a day, I recently found out Matthew smoked heavily in real life, smoking 60 CIGS A DAY. That's wild. Just like chandler, he absolutely loved smoking and said it was the hardest out of everything to quit. As bad as it is, he lived the way he wanted to, and no one else has the right to tell him how to live. That i highly respect. Love you Matthew 🩵
I really wish that if someone had helped him to quit heavy smoking and drug addiction, he would have been with us and had a happy life with his family and children.
I enjoy smoking my roll ups with a filter which i put in. It's my only vice after being a full blown alcoholic and also had drug issues which i got rid of which i still have counselling for. I'm 54 and smoking is one of the few things i really enjoy. I suffer post traumatic stress disorder which was horrific. Smoking roll ups is something that helps despite all of the health risks. I also suffer from depression and anxiety. I do enjoy smoking 🚬 but i wouldn't encourage it at all to anyone. It is a horrible addiction. I don't like to see young people smoking thinking it's cool, but i believe there's less people smoking now than when i was growing up and almost everyone seemed to smoke and cigarettes companies were sponsoring snooker and cricket tournament's here in the UK. Also you could smoke almost anywhere, now all of that has gone thankfully.
Cigarettes are engineered to be addictive. "You Smoke" because someone you thought was cool smoked. ... and you wanted to look cool, or older. Yes, the Nicotine is addictive 'in and of' itself, but they add more to it. I quit smoking (cigarettes) the day my nephew was born, he turns 14 in November. I enjoy a cigar a few times a year, I smoke Cannabis out of a pipe. But in my opinion (based on observations made by my heart and mind) ... those are entirely different things. Cigarettes are disgusting, and undignified. One man's opinion.
@KEZ RK MAYALL have you tried a pipe? I found the pipe quite enjoyable also. It's kinda "midway" between the Cigar and the Cigarette. I liked the pipe because "Refires" are still tasty (unlike Cigars), and you can "take in a lot, quickly" (unlike Cigarettes). However I prefer the "contact" and "interaction" with the Cigar to all other mediums (it is the crutch that helped me quit cigarettes). You "Tongue," "Chew," and "Tamp" a cigar. ... a "Good Cigar Smoker" can enjoy Nicotine without ever putting flame to it! I utilized this trick, continually ... 'played with my cigar' until I 'needed a cigarette' ... slowly cutting back on the # I needed each week ... till I got down to "a pack a week" ... then "One a day" ... It's probably the hardest thing I have ever done. But it CAN be done. The only thing I "didn't love" about the pipe:: carrying it everywhere. It -really- makes you smell like a "walking ashtray."
Okay can i be honest with you. Matthew perry wanted too smoke pn set so they let him. I dont think they would hace chandler going sayong s heartfelt speech about uow bad smoking is too
everyone knows smoking is bad, even when this aired. Don't turn this into an after school special because you're feel liking a civilized savior moralist
That's a bit over exaggerated. No smoker feels that kinda relief the moment they inhale, infact after a certain time you don't feel anything. Iam writing this so people don't fall for cigarettes out of curiosity
if you used to be a regular smoker and quit for sometime, The first puff after the break feels exactly how he acted in the scene. That's why the scene is so iconic
@@fudgeduplife7695 yes i agree, for maybe the first time, but then after the guilt of smoking hits you and you realize your a looser for smoking again that turns to disdain ... ive been a recovering smoker for over 12 years now and the way i do it ,is i didn't quit,i just took a break and haven't gone back .😊
His hair was so gorgeous in season 1. 🥰
yes it was
I mean seriously how was his hair like that for only one season
It was kinda gay.
@@arthurcaminha4310yes, he has homosexual hair
Exactly!
Good performance.
Its a good preformance because the actor was a genuine chain smoker (i am not saying he isnt a good actor cuz he is but yk)
too real
I quit smoking 15 years ago, and this clip is the one thing that has ever made me miss it lol.
How did you quit smoking 🙏🏽
You are so strong, respect!
Meanwhile clips like these stop me from ever trying it. Addiction looks so scary to me.
HE’S SO FINE but smoking is not, don’t smoke🙂 (chandler smoking is so hot omg)
Ikrrrrr

Bipolar crazy girls
So you could say Chandler is smoking hot 🚬
No Chandler; I think it’s just what YOU think has been missing from *your* hand
Thanks for explaining the joke, poindexter
*AUTIST DETECTED*
J: Do you miss it
C: No not so much
Ok we all know that's a bold face lie
Thank you, Matthew, for every joke, for every comfort through many hardships in my life ❤

30 a day is wild as well. Basically you smoked a cigarette roughly every 30 mins you were awake during the day.
How anyone can enjoy a cigarette is beyond me. Open the pack and it stinks, tastes awful, burns your throat and lungs - just garbage.

Back when Joey was sarcastic too but we needed diversity of personalities for the show going forward.
Actually Mathew perry Really missed it
And yet he was able to quit near the end of his life..
Gone way too soon.
Highly recommend his book.
