Okay meaning on days price rally’s above the Asian high range and doesn’t rally back down to the Asian range low and just keep going higher and higher, we don’t take trades that day?

@@Mellllllyy OK But if that instrument has been trending for the month, then are you saying that you then avoid trading that strategy on that instrument for the month/ I am newish and have seen many strategies that I have backtested and saw very low frequencies of when to take those trades. I know you cant take a trade everyday. But can you expect that you should be able to take a strategy at least once a week or once every two weeks?
@@nillionmaire it is a low frequency strategy. Just quickly looking at $NQ in May I've seen 5 occurrences of the trade. If you're looking for something a bit more frequent I would suggest looking at the London session. If you look at how many times $NQ takes the opposite liquidity after sweeping either BSL/SSL in NY AM then you'll see you get a lot more frequency with this. It'll will occur at least 2-3x more often

I have two questions though: 1) when is the correct time set up for London and NY (indices)? 2) Some days London take only one side of Asia, what NY bias is supposed to be in these cases? And price just keeps rallying higher and higher. Does that mean we don’t take trades that day?

This is not correct . I just looked at chart and it rarly happens plus dont missguide people saying they dont need bias cuz bias is the most crucial thing ..i see market sweep highs first then go bearish like crazy and never come back to wht u say highs cuz daily and weekly profiles are brearish ..this work only in consildations days

If you trading Nasdaq, it does 90 percent of the time

Algorithm time base price action would have been better sir, What time range do you suggest for this strategy after marking out the Asian ranging session?

There’s not time scale as to when the L/H will be taken out you would need to sit at charts all day waiting and sometimes it will take few days to come back into range. There’s not specific time for it to return back into range. Just put indicators on and you will see how many times it comes into range or not and when, it does not always set the bias for the day.

How often does something like this occur. I dfl understand the concept. But is it something that I can expect to happen once a week? once evry 2 weeks? Obviously no one has a crystal ball on these things. But does this happen frequently enough to be worth it? I see a lot of folks posting strategies. And when I go back and backtest how often their strategies work. It seems that the frequency is few and far between.

Faiz. May i ask please. Lets say it hits the asian low first then hit the asian high and im waiting for confirmation to enter sell, but the confirmation happens after the beginning of next day. Can i still enter the trade still?
That’s what I’ve noticed it doesn’t always come back into zone same day, does that invalidate that session and then we have took at the next Asia range for technically next day

Would it be wrong to start incorporating time factor on the last sweep of either the Asian high/low. The price action for Tuesday was quite nasty. Got lost at the beginning. Asian session ends at 5 am (new york time), not at 2 am as you said

What is time for asian range? 20:00 is start time and 2:00 am is ending of asia as per u? I m not getting it can please tell time in same format? Either tell me both in 12hrs format or both in 24hrs format
So he’s saying for this strategy it would be 20:00 to 02:00 NY EST in 24hr format and 08:00pm to 02:00am NY EST in 12hr format
